Departure (II)

As the guests were arriving at the house Aldwin and Aria were standing at the entrance and welcoming them but all the guests coming had a common question why were they invited with their families on such short notice and if there was something important why didn't the count say it tomorrow but Aldwin and Aria were not giving them any kind of answer so they could just wait for the start of the event and then can get their answers.

As all the guests came in one by one they were all guided to a different hall than the last night so when guests looked around they noticed a specific individual in the hall they were shocked because that person should not be there. This hall was only used for when the coronation of a family member or when a meeting was held to decide something important that all the family members, brand family members, and retainers had to be included for a decision because this room had the family seats in front of the door and for the rest of the guests there were seats on the left and right side of the hall.

As Alton and Maria reached the door and were waiting in front of the door for Aria and Aldwin they finally arrived. As Maria and Aldwin were walking towards them they were in the same ceremonial clothes as Alton and Maria.

As Aria saw Maria in the clothes she immediately hugged her "I knew you would look good in these clothes aren't I right Aldwin."

Aldwin nodded but stayed silent and then after a minute he looked at Alton and asked "Alton have you told Maria about the ritual."

"She had seen my coronation so she already knew about it father no need to take any tension."

Aldwin nodded and then asked Aria "Should I walk her or??"

Aria seeing that Aldwin was nervous answered "If you walk Maria who is going to walk me will you forget about me after you get a daughter I am so sad."

Alton and Maria started laughing hearing this when Aldwin coughed and they finally stopped seeing all this Maria was happy because she didn't know that Aldwin was accepting her or was it an act in front of her wife and son but now she knew that he truly cared for her.

Maria had been a part of the family for as long as they could remember but now she was going to be officially one of them because Maria and Aldwin always cared for her and took care of her more than a servant and although Alton was a recluse he only talked to Maria.

"I will walk Sister in when it will be time for her to walk in so you can go in and take care of everything and when the ceremony starts I will walk with her so no one can say anything bad to her."

Aldwin and Aria nodded to this because this was the best option out of all when Alton looked towards Maria "Sister we may need to wait here for five more minutes."

Maria nodded with a big smile on her face and Aldwin and Aria stood in front of the door Aldwin looked at the servant and instructed "For now Only name us two."

The servant nodded and then said in a loud voice "Count Aldwin Von Teren and Countess Aria Von Teren are entering the hall."

All the people in the hall got up from their chairs and slightly bowed when they saw two silhouettes of people entering the room. Aldwin and Aria entered the hall and walked towards the head seat which was in front of the door as Aldwin and Aria sat on their seats people noticed that there were two more seats but there should only be one more which should belong to Alton so why was there one more would it be that count was going to marry Alton before he leaves but if that was true where is young master Alton.

As All these ideas came into their mind they could only wait until the count finally answered their questions. As Aria sat on her chair and Aldwin stood in front of the people and saw all of them having questioning looks he smiled "You all must be wondering why I have called you here on such short notice but it was something which needed to be done fast."

Finishing his words Aldwin looked at the people left and right "Has High Priest Alfred arrived until now."

Hearing this High Priest got up from his chair and said "Yes I am here." Saying this he started walking towards Aldwin.

Aldwin seeing him smiled and said in a low voice "Sorry sir for making you come here in such a hurry but don't worry I will compensate you."

As the people saw that the High Priest was walking towards Aldwin they had made up their minds that this was for Alton's marriage because if not for the marriage did the Count have an illegitimate child who he was going to take in today and give the family name.

In Arizonian Empire when a Nobel coronation was done there needed to be either a high-ranking Nobel or a at least a High Priest to be a witness and they would put their seal on the paper and then only that person's name could be inputted in the family book at the royal palace.

High Priest Alfred was around the same age as Aldwin and he was Aldwin's childhood best friend he was also the person who had attended not only his wedding with Aria but he was also Alton's coronation Priest so he had to come when Aldwin said in his letter that he was taking in a daughter in Teren household he wanted to meet his niece so that is why he came on such short notice.

Alfred asked, "Shouldn't you be finding a daughter-in-law rather than a daughter right about now."

Aria heard this and chuckled "Alfred when we do find a daughter-in-law you would be invited so don't take tension."

Alfred asked, "So where is the girl?"

Aldwin then looked at him and said "Wait for a few minutes." Aldwin cleared his throat a little to get all the people's attention and then said "So you must be wondering why I called you all here."

A voice came from in the crowd a man with a similar facial expression to Aldwin and also with the same hair and eye color, he was so same that if the aesthetics were not different it would take a hard time to differentiate between them said: "Is our little Alton getting married." The whole crowd started chuckling and he could say this because he was Aldwin's only blood relative his brother Edwin.

Aldwin suppressed himself and nodded in denial "sorry to break it to you but you are wrong."

All of them were shocked because if this was not the seen then what was the reason behind this when Adwin once again said "So did you get an illegitimate child and are taking it in the house?" No one laughed because this could be seen as going against the lord but Adwin was not scared because Aldwin was lenient towards his family.

Aldwin smiled "You are half right and half wrong."

Everyone including Adwin was shocked when Aldwin continued but this time with a louder voice than before "Teren family is going to get a new member today so Alton comes in."

The door was immediately opened and Alton entered the room but he was not alone there was also a black hair beauty standing next to him and they slowly walked towards Aldwin, Aria, and Alfred.

Five minutes before entering

"Sister there may be some people who will object and say a bad thing but you need to face them because this is the price nobles have to pay and don't think you are alone because we are with you always."

Maria smiled at Alton's words because she knew and worried about the same thing but now that Alton had said this her worries were lessened so she sighed relief and nodded with full confidence and seeing her Alton smiled.

When Alton heard his father's voice he said "Sister let's go be brave."

Maria nodded and with full confidence walked into the room with Alton.
