Kara's door opened. She sighed knowing exactly who was going to enter. "It's obvious you're here to counsel me about earlier." She figured.

Nora sighed and sat beside her as she kept laying on her bed. "How long are you going to let this affect you, Kara?"

"This is a day that I want to forget, mom. It's a tragic day for me."

"It is your birthday, Kara."

Kara shook her head and turned to the other side facing her mom. "It is the day I died, mom. My birthday no longer mattered since that unfortunate day of my life. My parents died that day, and everything in my head about that day isn't exactly roses. I just want to forget."

Nora nodded in understanding. "I know. I get it, but..."

"No buts, mom. I'm only human. Except someone deletes that day from my memory, it has taken the position of my birthday." Kara told her as a matter of fact.

Nora nodded again. "At least something good came out. Congrats on your internship."

Kara smiled. "That should have been worth celebrating."

"When you saw her, you felt anything different?" A lady asked.

He shook his head. "Not really. Just normal as normal."

"We know she's not normal, Ken. She died and woke up, and she just clocked twenty. I don't think your eyes are on her."

Kenneth sighed. "I guess I'll have to watch her more closely."

"Mr. Philip Stark."

He looked up, and his brows furrowed at an unexpected visitor. "Dr. Nelson Chang?" He acknowledged in surprise.

Dr. Chang nodded with a smile... "Yeah, and to get straight to the point on why I'm in your office, I got good news."

Mr. Stark stood up from his office chair and walked closer to Nelson. "What good news?"

"The iron melted." He dropped.

Mr. Stark gaped. "It did?"

Dr. Chang nodded. "Yes, it did after sixteen years, Mr. Stark. I was shocked to see it become a bubbling fire."

"And what is to be done about it?" Mr. Stark asked.

"Your plans from the onset. Those irons you found on that unfortunate day were extraordinary, and when I tested them, it was way beyond anything I've ever seen. I knew it wasn't any ordinary iron. I just never knew it was a solid fire which as we know there isn't such. Fire can't be in a solid state."

Mr. Stark nodded getting his point. "Then work with it, and see what it can do."

"Should the project be called what it's always been called?"

Mr. Stark nodded. "It should."

Mr. Chang nodded, but as he was about to walk out, he paused upon seeing someone at the door watching them.

"Hunter? How long have you been standing there?" Mr. Stark asked noticing him.

Mr. Chang bowed at Hunter, and left, while Hunter just watched.

"Hunter." Mr. Stark called again.

Hunter looked at him and walked closer. "What are you up to now, dad?"

"Nothing. Did you hear anything?" Mr. Stark inquired wondering if he did.

Hunter looked at his dad up to down. "Be careful dad. Things you do always get back at you, and I'm tired of being among the target that gets shot in the process."

"I'm not doing anything bad, son."

Hunter nodded. "Just be careful."

"Why are you here?" He questioned.

Hunter gave him a low smile and dropped a document on his desk. "Since your illegal business is over, let's talk about your legal one."

Mr. Stark opened his safe, and saw the two big vials of frozen blood he kept safe sixteen years back. He sighed remembering the horrible death of a guy he called friend. A guy he knew was extraordinary.

His blood was something he just wasn't able to decipher. One thing he always knew was he could heal. One of the things his eyes caught that made him get close.

Very secretive, his friend. He and that scared wife of his could also be extraordinary.

He smirked knowing he was soon gonna put the blood to work.

Now that the iron has melted, let's see what their blood is capable of.
