Chapter Three

Levi nodded.

The time has come for his revenge to begin.

He knew he would make it.

But didn't expect it to be so soon...

The next day.

In front of the branch company of Corsair Real Estate.

"Why in the world are we standing out here? I have work to do," a young lady complained.

"We all have work to do, and you don't see the rest of us complaining, do you?" A coworker replied to her.

"Well, maybe it's because your work is not as important as mine is."

"Can someone just tell me what we are doing here?"

The coworker kept quiet. She too wanted to know why she was brought out of her office so early in the morning. But she was more interested to know why the general manager, vice general manager, and five departmental managers were standing outside with them.

"We are here to welcome the newly elected president," Ella said with pride laced in her voice.

"And now do you know that?" The lady asked.

"Because the media manager told me," she said confidently.

"Who, Mr. Dustin?"

Ella turned to see the sneer on the girl's face, and she was excited. Everyone wanted Dustin because he was damn gorgeous, and now, he was all hers.

"Yes, he did."

"If you know so much, tell us. Who is the new president?"

Ella understood precisely what they were trying to do, and it was about time she marked her territory in that office.

"Well, according to my lover, the new president is a relative of Mr. Gilead, and he is very competent at what he does."

"And I bet you wouldn't hesitate to warm his bed to get promoted to a new position." There was no remorse in the young lady's face after she finished talking.

Ella moved to strike her, but before she could lay a finger on the lady, her hand was held back.

"Ella." It was Dustin.

"What?!"

"Look!"

Ella followed Dustin's pointed finger and saw Levi coming into the office.

"What the hell is he doing here?!" Ella asked as she moved angrily towards him.

"Look, if you are here to beg for her back, trust me that it is pointless. She doesn't want you." Dustin said scornfully.

"You guys really think the world revolves around you, don't you?" Levi snorted.

"Well, it doesn't revolve around you either, so get the hell out of here! Don't wait for me to call the security!"

"You are not the boss to tell me what to do," Levi said coldly, folded his arms.

"I am the manager here. And you, you're a nobody. Face it,loser!"  Dustin snickered.

"On the contrary, I am somebody." Levi answered with a smirk on his face.

"And who the hell are you?"

"If you must know, I'm the person you're all waiting for."

As soon as Levi finished his sentence,an intense laughter that resonated with the entire room and even made people look at them.

"Oh, come on Levi, it's too early to be spitting out such expensive jokes," Ella said, almost laughing into tears.

"Now, if you are done, please get out. We have more important things to do, like welcoming the new president of a company that you will never even work as a cleaner for," Dustin added.

As he turned around,a luxurious car stopped in front of the gate.

"Oh, Mr. Josh," Dustin said, happy to see Mr. Gilead's secretary coming out of it

"Welcome,Mr. Josh," he turned to him immediately.

But Josh just glanced at him, kept mute.

"Mr. Josh, we are so happy to see you. We have been waiting for a long time now." The general manager said respectfully.

"Please tell us when the next president will get here."

"Yes, sir. Please tell us when he is getting here. We are eager to meet him." A staff member added.

Josh ignored the murmurs that filled the room and walked down to where Levi was standing. He took a bow and said, "Master, I'm sorry for being late."
