As Luna made her way towards the passage leading to Eldoria, apprehension gripped her. The darkness of the passage loomed before her, an ominous gateway to the unknown. Pausing to ensure she was alone, Luna steadied her breathing, attempting to quell the rising fear within her.
"All right, Luna... it won't hurt that much. How painful can it be?". She murmured, her voice a whisper of reassurance to herself. Summoning her courage, she spoke words of resilience, determined to conquer her trepidation. "Let fear be the wind beneath my wings, and I shall soar above it, undefeated". She mumbled, her resolve firm as she stepped into the passage. In an instant, Luna was transported to the Elven Realm of Eldoria. Like everyone had told her the consequences of not having a Realmwalker, the abrupt transition had left her sprawling on the ground, her body pulsing with pain as if thousands of needles had pierced her flesh, draining her energy. Gasping for breath, Luna collapsed to her knees, overcome by agony. Slowly, she forced her eyes open, the ache lingering in every fiber of her being. Expecting the break of dawn, Luna was instead greeted by the vibrant hues of midday in Eldoria. Colors burst forth in a dazzling display, painting the landscape in a kaleidoscope of nature's beauty. Throughout her life, Luna had only known three colors, white, black, and grey. But here, in the Kingdom of Eldoria, she beheld a panorama of colors she had never imagined. The sky stretched overhead in a canvas of cerulean blue, adorned with wisps of cottony clouds tinged with hues of pink and gold. The verdant landscape unfolded before her, bathed in the gentle glow of sunlight filtering through the canopy of ancient trees. Emerald foliage danced in the breeze, while flowers of every hue carpeted the forest floor in a breathtaking tapestry of life. Streams meandered through the landscape, their crystalline waters sparkling like diamonds in the sunlight. As Luna took in the splendor of Eldoria, she felt someone standing beside her. She looked up and was greeted by an angry elf shooting daggers at her direction. He was wearing an armor, had a sword in his hand. "I see we have visitors from Abyssia". He said. His long, golden hair shining in sunlight. Luna was feeling very dizzy. "I have come to see King Thalion". She said in a low, tired voice. That was because her whole energy was drained. "Do you think I'm a fool that I'll let you go inside?". The guard crouched and grabbed her hair. "Tell me, Greywing.. why the hell did you trespass? Why are you here?". He gritted his teeth, his grip on her hair tightening. "I swear I'm here to talk to King Thalion. He knows about my arrival". Luna groaned in pain. "Why should I believe you?". He asked. "If you don't believe me, go ask His Majesty". She said. "How about decapitating you right here?". He retrieved his sword. "No, please". She cried. "You can do whatever you want but please just go and ask him first". The elf took a deep breath, contemplating. "LIRELLE". He called a fellow elf. He walked at her. "Oh? What is The Greywing doing here?". "I want you to have an eye on her till I come back". The elf said. "Sure". Lirelle nodded. "Why is she here anyways?". "We'll know soon". The elf replied and walked away. ××××××× King Thalion sat in the Throne Room on his throne, talking to his son, Prince Elion, who was standing in front of him, talking. King Thalion had a golden crown on his head, it was intricately wrought into delicate filigree patterns that intertwined like vines of ivy. Elion had the same on his head but it was silver in color. "I suggest we change our rules, Make them more stronger. The Felgroth are becoming powerful and rebellious day by day". Elion said. "You're right, son.. I fear they may try to attack our Kingdom once again". Thalion nodded. "I want you to double the security in the city". "Sure, Your Majesty". Elion bowed politely. The door opened and the elf guard stepped inside. "Your Majesty". He bowed as he approached nearer. "What is it?". Thalion asked. "The Greywing, Luna Fireheart just trespassed our territory". He told. Elion looked back at him, eyes widened in surprise. "Luna? I thought she had given up". Thalion murmured. "Where is she?". Elion asked. "She's at the passage". The elf guard replied. Elion moved towards him angrily. "Did you treat her badly?". The elf kept quiet in response. "I'll kill you!". Elion glared at him. Thalion stopped him before he advanced towards him. "Elion! Stop the madness". He commanded. Elion stopped in his tracks. "Pardon, your Majesty". "You". Thalion turned to the guard. "Being her in". The elf guard nodded and turned around to leave. ××××××× Luna was still on the ground, being watched by Lirelle. She was feeling so weak and nauseous. She wanted to have a look around but it was difficult to keep her eyes open now. Soon, the guard arrived with a carriage and took her with him to the palace. In the city, everything was colored in shining, lively colors. The she-elves were working in the streets, soldiers talked to each other while enjoying drinks and children played on the streets. They eyed her curiously as she passed near them. Finally, the carriage driver halted and the guard got off. "Come with me". He said. Luna got off slowly, trying to keep her balance and that's when she saw the Elven Palace. The palace of Eldoria stood as a testament to the timeless beauty and elegance of elven architecture, nestled amidst the lush greenery of the forest. From the outside, the palace appeared as a majestic structure woven seamlessly into the natural surroundings, its graceful spires and towers reaching skyward like the branches of ancient trees. The exterior of the palace was adorned with intricate carvings, depicting scenes from elven mythology and folklore. Vines of ivy wound their way around the walls, while colorful blooms cascaded from hanging baskets, filling the air with their sweet fragrance. Tall arched doorways led into the palace grounds, guarded by statues of elven warriors and mythical creatures. As one entered the palace, they were greeted by a grand foyer bathed in soft, golden light filtering through stained glass windows. Marble columns rose to support the vaulted ceiling, their surfaces adorned with delicate carvings of leaves and flowers. Elaborate tapestries lined the walls, depicting scenes of elven history and culture, while intricately woven rugs covered the polished marble floors. The main hall of the palace was a sight to behold, with its soaring ceilings and opulent furnishings. A grand staircase led up to the upper levels, its banisters adorned with finely wrought ironwork. Massive crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, casting a warm glow over the room, while tall windows offered panoramic views of the surrounding forest. Throughout the palace, lush gardens and tranquil courtyards provided peaceful retreats for contemplation and relaxation. The sounds of birdsong and trickling water filled the air, creating an atmosphere of serenity and harmony within the palace walls. The elf guard lead Luna inside the throne room. Elion turned around at the sounds of the doors opening. His lips curved into a small smile as he saw Luna's face. The guard bowed and left. Luna bowed slowly. "Your Majesty". She then locked eyes with Elion. "Your Highness". "Welcome, Luna". Thalion greeted her. "I'm sorry if the guards treated you badly". "It's ok". Luna replied. "They were doing their jobs". "So, you're on your mission?". Thalion asked. "Yes, I successfully made the fallen angels believe that I'm the part of them and the news reached the Dark King. He also sent me greetings. I also learnt a lot about Darkland". She told, shifting from one foot to another. Elion took slow steps towards her, sensing something weird. "Very well.. you can stay in Eldoria for as long as you want.. be my guest". He said. "Thank you, Your Majesty. Angel Gabriel told me to ask you to help me learn sword fighting. It might come in handy". She responded. "Sure, my son, Elion is the Chief of the Elven Army, he will teach you himself". Thalion nodded. "I appreciate that.. thank-". Before she could complete, her vision blurred. "LUNA!". Elion shouted and ran at her before she could fall down. She fell into her arms, unconscious. ×××××××Luna was now in the medical wing of the palace. The doctor came out after checking her and bowed politely in front of the King and Elion. "Your Majesty". He said."What happened to her?". Thalion asked. The doctor looked up. "Our guest passed out because of the impact of passing the passage". Elion frowned. "How's that possible? We do that all the time". "We do it without any problems because we have Realmwalkers, your highness. Luna Fireheart is a half-fallen angel. She does not possess a Realmwalker". The doctor told."What!?". Elion was surprised. "I didn't knew that! Why is that so?". "Fallen Angels, when they turn away from God, are deprived off their Realmwalkers which they had as angels so they can't leave Abyssia. She's the daughter of a fallen angel so she is not given a Realmwalker by God". The doctor explained. "That's absurd!". Elion shook his head. "We can't question God's rules". The doctor replied. "The Quanta Passages destroy a person who tires to trespass it wi
The streets were overflowing with elves grinning from ear to ear as they prepared for the celebration. "The fragrance you smell is from a flower named Luminebloom. It blooms once a year and holds significance both medically and socially. My great-great-grandfather was healed from a fatal Felgroth bite by drinking its extract. We celebrate its blooming every year by decorating the streets and having a feast at night". Prince Elion explained to Luna."That's fascinating". Luna nodded as they strolled through the vibrant streets. "I'm honored to be a part of it"."Did you tell your father before coming here?". Elion inquired."No". Luna shook her head, concealing the fact about the scroll and her father's directive to run away."Wouldn't he be curious?". Elion pressed gently."I couldn't risk him revealing my quest. No matter how kind he is, he's still a fallen angel". Luna confessed."You're loyal".Elion remarked with a smile."At least someone believes me". She replied."Of course, I
Luna was awakened by the sound of birds chirping outside, in her balcony. She got up and rubbed her eyes. Just as she stood, the door opened after a gentle knock."You're awake, Miss Fireheart!". Daisy appeared from behind the door. "Good Morning". "Good Morning, Daisy". Luna smiled and tried to comb her hair with her fingers. "I wanted to let you know that the breakfast is ready, you should come and have it then we'll get you ready". She said. "Okay, let me wash my face". Luna said. "I'll be outside". Daisy responded with a grin and exited. ×××××××Daisy lead Luna to the meal room of the palace. She looked around, examining the walls and decor of the palace. An elf stood outside, mumbling something, looking up. As if he was casting a spell. "What is he doing?". Luna asked."He is appointed to cast away any kind of evil that surrounds the palace and the realm". Daisy told. "Wow, that's amazing". Luna commented and continued following Daisy. In the meal room, Luna had her brea
Elion had trained Luna to be a formidable fighter, and in just an elven month—equivalent to two lunar months—she had learned a great deal. Now, the time had come for her to continue her journey. As she meticulously packed her belongings, she tucked her sword and scroll under her robe. Just then, King Thalion entered the chamber, his hands clasped behind his back. Luna turned, surprised to see him."Your Majesty, is everything alright?". She asked."I came to bid you farewell on your journey". He replied with a warm smile. "There is a great responsibility on your shoulders, and I wish you the best of luck in fulfilling it"."Thank you so much, Your Majesty". Luna responded with a polite smile. "And thank you for being so hospitable and taking such good care of me during my stay"."It is our duty and our pleasure, my dear". King Thalion said kindly. "I'll leave you now to finish your packing". "Thank you". Luna nodded. With that, King Thalion turned and left the chamber, allowing Luna
Luna stayed there, unconscious and the dead bodies of the Felgroths lied around her. A horse rider, who had seen her fight the Felgroth from a distance, came out of the shadows. He was dressed in a black cape clock, his face was hidden. One can only see his blue eyes. He looked around and ran his horse towards Luna. Dismounting, he shoved the dead bodies of the Felgroths away with his foot and made his way towards Luna. He took a detailed look at her beautiful, blood stained face. He looked at her gray clothes and hair and the sword that lied a few inches away. His eyes popped out when he realized that wasn't an ordinary sword. "Defender?". He said in his husky voice. Running to grab it, he was flabbergasted to know why she was gray. "Salvador Fireheart.. my name's Salvador Fireheart, son of Alastor Fireheart". He recalled someone's words. "You have to be her daughter, lady. I'm helping you for that sake". He said and lifted Luna up. ×××××××The rider carefully placed her on the hor
In the elven realm, the sun rose gently, casting a golden glow over the vast woodlands and the mystical habitats of the elves. The air was filled with the soft hum of nature awakening. Prince Elion stood in a grand hallway, his hands clasped behind his back, lost in thought. "I wish I was with you, Luna". He whispered softly to himself.A quiet cough behind him broke his reverie. Elion turned to see his father, King Thalion, approaching with steady steps."Father". Elion greeted, forcing a smile."Elion". Thalion said warmly, placing a firm hand on his son’s shoulder. "Is everything alright?"."By God's grace, yes". Elion replied, though his tone betrayed his unease."Still worried about Luna?". Thalion asked knowingly."A lot". Elion admitted. "She’s new to everything. She’s never stepped foot outside Luminara. She knows nothing of the world beyond".King Thalion smiled gently. "My son’s in love".Elion met his father’s eyes. "I can’t hide my feelings any longer. I can’t bear to stay
A soldier entered the chamber, a modest but functional space where decisions were made."Mayor Hans, Sir". He said, standing at attention with a salute."What is it, Jake?". The mayor, a man in his mid-fifties, sat in a large wooden chair by the window, his gaze shifting from a document in front of him."Noah has a guest". Jake informed him."A guest?". Hans turned to face him fully, his interest piqued."Yes. Her face was hidden, but I'm fairly certain it's a woman. He took her to his home"."Noah took a woman home? That's a first". Hans chuckled, leaning back in his chair."I don’t think she’s a lover or anything like that, sir. Noah was acting... suspiciously". Jake said, his tone more serious.Hans rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Hmm. Interesting. Keep an eye on him"."As you wish". Jake replied before turning to leave.×××××××Noah began to explain everything to Luna about how he knows her father. "My father was attacked by the Felgroths in the Forests of Eldoria and your father
It was morning in the Human realm of Terrania. People bustled about, busy with their own lives. But the news of Greywing's arrival had spread like wildfire, and whispers filled the air as curiosity overtook them. The marketplace near the Terranian Border was packed, and everywhere people were discussing Luna Fireheart.Suddenly, the sound of a horse's neigh echoed from the passage. Elion, the Elven Prince, entered the realm, riding regally on his horse. He pulled to a stop near the crowd, dismounted with a fluid grace, and scanned the onlookers."Has anyone seen Luna Fireheart?". He demanded, his voice cutting through the chatter like a blade.A ripple of excitement moved through the crowd. "It's the Elven Prince!". They whispered, eyes wide with awe and wariness. Some murmured their judgments under their breath.Elion scowled, clearly annoyed. "Ugh, humans and their incessant judging". He muttered, his tone dripping with disdain. Then, louder, "I ASKED A QUESTION!". His voice boomed
