Chapter 241

Anna's brain froze for a second. She had been up in her head thinking about the possibilities of things for a moment now. The first thing that came to her mind when she opened her mouth was to try and ease herself of the pent of emotions she was feeling.

She had set out trying to vindicate herself and not be run into the corner by an emotional blackmail but all of a sudden, things changed.

When the brain regained its pace, all Anna could do was just stare at her father with no words. The man was not looking at her. He was staring at the front.

Her gaze had tuned to the extent that, if there was a way, her eyes would have drilled holes in his face. At a point, it would seem as though the side of his face was an outlet where Anna could comfortably plug her eyes.

She heard Lord Theo sigh very heavily. Then he turned to the door and pushed it open. He climbed out of the car.
