0004: Shocking Discovery

Kian took long strides towards the Bentley Continental GT that was parked outside the hotel.

In a profound voice, he asked, "What happened?"

"Sir, my men have found the whereabouts of that lady," Wesley began to report to him carefully. "Her name is Savannah Wilson. She is the daughter of a third-class family in Valoria Prime."

'Savannah?' Kian repeated inwardly. He couldn't remember much about the lady from that night as he had never met her before until that unfortunate day.

"After that incident," Wesley continued. "The Wilson's family were afraid of being implicated so they disowned Savannah's family and removed them from the family lineage."

"Not long after, her father was accused of a misfortune that happened at the family's company and claimed the lives of some employees. He is in prison now and her mother could only make ends meet by selling groceries at the local market."

"Miss Savannah herself is now a music teacher at a local school. But just now, her son was abducted from school and she has been acting crazy upon hearing the news."

Kian's eyes snapped to Wesley's direction. The confusion was evident on his face as he asked, "Her son? Has she gotten married?"

Wesley hesitated to respond but when he did, he lowered his face and shook his head.

"No, sir. Noah Wilson is your son."

CLAP!

The news dropped like a bombshell. Kian's pupils shook like he had been struck by lightning and his mind went blank.

How could this be? He actually had a son all these years? The lady he had hurt had continued his bloodline...

Kian has been through many battles and had a heart of steel but at this moment, he couldn't help but tremble. He was at a loss.

These past years, he couldn't even sleep peacefully because of the anger and hatred that weighed on his mind.

Now returning to Valoria Prime and finding out he has a son, an indescribable emotion spread in his heart.

He couldn't decipher if it was surprise, excitement, panic, confusion or anxiety.

But before he could even react, he already received news that his son was abducted. How dare they?

"Find out who did this as soon as possible," His overflowing emotions stabilized and the killing intent was back. The temperature in the car also dropped suddenly.

They have messed with the wrong person.

In one of the villas located at an upscale estate called Lakeside Haven, a huge and fierce looking bodyguard carried a little boy into the fancy living room.

The boy had a striking head full of curly black hair and although he was unconscious, he was so handsome one would have mistaken him to have stepped out of a painting.

He looked up at the middle-aged man who was descending the stairs and called out respectfully, "Boss, I have brought Savannah's son as you instructed. He put up quite a hassle and tried to attract attention, so I knocked him out cold."

Without waiting for his boss to speak, he continued, "Should we inform her now?"

"Don't be so hasty," A sneer appeared on the man's face as he looked at the boy. "That bitch treats her son like her life. Let her be anxious for a while and then we will inform her."

"She accepted my money but won't sleep with me. Who does she think I am? A fool?" His eyes flashed with coldness.

"I will make her kneel before me for mercy and then, I'll toy with her till my lower body is satisfied!"

Then he pointed at a cage in one corner of the room. It appeared no bigger than that of a dog's.

"Lock that little bastard in there first. If she tries to prove stubborn, I'll sell him off and get my money back. A handsome little face like his will fetch me some fortune."

But when the bodyguard turned to head to the cage, the boy in his arms suddenly woke up.

His eyes darted around in confusion at first but when he caught sight of the scary bodyguard, he remembered this bad uncle had tried to grab him at the restroom.

He began to struggle and shouted, "You, bad uncle! Let me go! I want to go to my mommy!"

The bodyguard was having a tough time holding him. The middle-aged man walked up to them and held the boy by his chin with a little force that made him wince in pain.

"You little bastard, you better behave and I might give you candy otherwise— Ah!"

His words were cut off with a scream as the boy had bitten hard on his finger. The expression on the little boy seem to be saying,

'Who are you trying to fool with a candy?'

"You little imp!" He slapped the boy after saying this. There were five fingerprints on his soft skin immediately and his face was swollen.

The little boy turned blank with fear evident in his eyes. The man looked at his finger and saw that it was purple from the bite.

He was so angry he picked up the boy and threw him into the cage. "You are just as daring as your foolish mother! How dare you bite me? When I finish with your mother, I'll feed you to my dogs!"

Noah recoiled from the pain of hitting the iron cage and he began to cry. He was only a child and has never been in this situation before.

All this would not have happened if he hadn't gone to the restroom. He wasn't wise enough to understand in this case, it was his school's security team that was at fault and just let anyone get in.

But no sooner had the man threatened him when the doors of the villa burst open. The bodyguard turned around and cursed angrily, "Who's the—"

SWISH!

Before he could complete his statement, something shot towards him. His eyes bulged and he clutched his throat as he fell to the ground in shock.

A knife had been thrown towards him and stabbed a vital spot. Before the middle-aged man could react, a figure flew quickly into the room and landed beside the bodyguard.

It was Wesley. He bent down and picked up his knife without batting an eye at the blood oozing from the bodyguard's throat, then he turned to the door respectfully.
