Valerie was turning left and right on her bed, beads of sweat trickling down her face. Her clothes were soaked with sweat and even the spot which was lying down on the bed was moist.

Her chest kept rising and falling at an irregular pace until she finally shot up, gasping for her breath. She struggled with the handcuffs, hoping they would give in but as usual they didn't.

Her wrists were already sore and red with bruises from her struggle. She placed her palm on her chest, trying to steady her breathing.
