011 -

Sylvia can’t say a word. It’s something she has been worrying about so far. It’s too much for someone to send that many hitmen to kill Thomas who is just a countryside man. She knows she was the real target, and they can just come to her again.

Right after saying all his suspicions, Thomas stares at Laura full of intent, making that lady so awry about something.

“Enough with your bullshit,” Laura snaps. “We know you only wanted to squeeze Donovan’s money, and now you are trying to shift the blame to save your face! Joaquin! Kick him out of this house!”

Laura’s husband comes to Thomas, and then grabs his clothes. He harshly drags Thomas before forcing him to get up. Soon after that, he throws him toward the family room.

As Thomas tries to get up, his attention is diverted by a pair of smooth, beautiful legs in high heels. He then looks up, finding Naomi Saunders standing over him, the same girl he met yesterday at the cemetery. She doesn't look so happy at all.

The incident at Boslow Hill last month has actually been a public conversation lately. How could it not be, Donovan Gregory's granddaughter was involved in the incident, and six criminals died without knowing who killed them.

Some people have also learned about the fate of the man who saved Donovan Gregory’s granddaughter that night. Of course, Naomi Saunders, who knows the Gregory Family quite well, has also learned a little about the incident.

For this reason, she deliberately kept quiet following the little drama that has just happened, because she recognized Sylvia's face quite well. It’s just that she didn’t know that the man who saved Sylvia in Boslow Hill was actually the same man who saved her life in the cemetery.

“So, the hero who saved the only princess of the Gregory family was you?” Naomi looked down at Thomas with a sweet smile. “Now I begin to understand why you were always crawling, showing so much difficulty using your two legs. I heard you lost the ability to walk after saving her life. But I am still confused, what did you do in the cemetery yesterday?”

She then averts her attention to Sylvia. Her naïve smile completely vanishes. Her gaze is icy cold like the eyes of a dead fish’s eyes.

“From what I heard, shouldn't they be taking care of you since you got out of the hospital, my dear Thomas?”

She directs the question to Thomas, but isn’t taking her cold gaze away from Sylvia. Of course, her behavior sparks some displeasure from Sylvia, who feels like she is being judged wrong by a woman she doesn’t know.

“This has nothing to do with you,” Sylvia refutes.

“Why would you think this has nothing to do with me?” replies Naomi rhetorically.

“You?” It sparks Sylvia’s curiosity. “Who are you to him? It seems like you know Thomas well!”

Apparently, Thomas is currently showing contempt at Naomi with whatever thoughts he has in his mind. He struggles to get up, and then leans to Naomi by holding her shoulders on both sides.

“How dared you take off my clothes without my concern?”

He looks so pissed off. But his anger is not seen by Sylvia and the others, because they only see Thomas' back when he speaks to Naomi.

However, everything he said just now was heard clearly by everyone, causing them to start imagining wild things about what might have happened between him and that stunning girl last night.

Naomi averts her glance back to Sylvia, and shows a cunning smile. “You heard what he said, didn’t you? He is my boyfriend! I have the right to know what you did to him after you took him out of the hospital.”

Both Joaquin and Oliver, who know so well who Naomi is, are so shocked to hear Naomi’s confession.

“So what if he is your boyfriend?” Sylvia rebukes.

Joaquin Underwood rushes to Sylvia, and then whispers to her from behind. “She is Naomi Saunders, the daughter of Adam Saunders who is known as the richest man in Drada in the recent years.”

Sylvia is petrified. Well, she is not a businesswoman. She knows the Saunders, but this is her first time to see Naomi in the face.

“How did he get to know important people like the Saunders?” she mumbles.

Unlike Sylvia, Oliver Morris, who happens to hold an important position at Morris Enterprise, has met Naomi in some occasions before this. There was even a time when he tried to hook on her, fantasizing about making that stunning girl his wife. But Naomi is a beauty beyond his reach.

He had tried, but never managed to leave a little impression on the girl. Even at the moment, Naomi acts as if she has never known him.

“This bumpkin? Your boyfriend?” Oliver chuckles by shaking his head. “Isn’t that weird? That man looked so mad after Donovan Gregory matched me with his granddaughter. If he is indeed your boyfriend, isn't it strange if he still hopes to marry another girl?”

Naomi glances at Thomas, raising one of her eyebrows a bit. And Thomas, he looks so confused, not knowing what’s inside this girl’s mind when telling them that he is her boyfriend.

Out of nowhere, Naomi kisses Thomas’ cheek while holding his chin gently, and then shows her naughty smile at Oliver.

“Well, we only started dating last night. Should I also tell you what we had done the whole night, Mr. Golden-haired Prince, Oliver Morris? I gave him something you could only beg me this whole time,” the girl teases.

Oliver is fumed, isn’t hiding how irritated he is. It is obvious that Naomi recognizes him. She even used that ‘Golden-haired Prince’ term - something Oliver used to introduce himself to Naomi in the past - as mere a joke to tilt him.

It also steals Sylvia’s attention. Curiosity paints her face, slightly mixed with jealousy, suspecting that the girl has something to do with her fiancé.
