Mr Apollo, I Need Your Help

As the man entered the room, standing across Dennis, he frowned at the sight of his brother-in-law, Jack Luther

Of all his relations, Dennis despised Jack the most. He wasn't just a bully; he physically abused him too.

Despite always asking his sister for money, especially after quitting his job at the auto shop when she became a CEO,

He once stole about five thousand dollars from his sister Sasha to pay a gambling debt. When Sasha found out she was missing her money, she told her family, and Jack immediately accused Dennis of stealing the money.

Jack stood across the room staring furiously at Dennis, and then his eyes averted to Yura at the corner of the room.

When he saw her, he whistled and cat called

"Damn sugar! Can I get your number, baby?" he said, slowly approaching Yura.

She slowly backed away, moving closer to Dennis; she was fully aware of her beauty, with black graceful hair adorning her shoulders, decorating the grey blouse she wore, pale clear skin, brown eyes and long legs; she wasn't new to men hitting on her.

But she had never met the likes of Jack, having grown up the granddaughter of the richest and most dangerous man in New York City; she was always surrounded by bodyguards and never had to deal with street hooligans. However, this time she did not bring any.

She thought it wasn't suitable for a visit and would only make Dennis uncomfortable if she came with bodyguards, as he often preferred a more quiet and direct approach.

Dennis stared directly at Jack as he realized the girl didn't want anything to do with him and said

"Get out" in a very calm tone.

Jack greatly despised his brother-in-law and felt irritated by his rash comments. He felt insulted and embarrassed that Dennis dared to command him in the presence of company.

He sneered and walked towards the refrigerator, opened it and took out a bottle of beer, popped the cap and took a long deep chug and stared at Dennis for a few seconds. His anger rising

"Oh, I see how it is. You want to show off for your little girlfriend," Jack said,

"How long has this been going on?" He asked, taking another swig of the beer.

Dennis stared at him in confusion but did not wish to entertain his notions

"Didn't I ask you a question, bastard?!" Jack thundered,

"How long have you been cheating on my sister, with this…" he said and averted his gaze coldly at Yura,

"With this trash over here?!" Jack said, enraged

"That's what's going on, right? It is why you want this house. So you can bring more tramps like her around, right?" He added, placing his hands on the counter and furrowing his brows at Dennis.

Dennis sneered and chuckled lightly, "I'll strongly advice you to get out of my home", he warned him, and Jack seemed amused.

"I never did anything to you because you were my brother-in-law, but now that your sister and I are divorced. I'll warn you again, Jack, do not piss me off!" "It won't end well for you if you do," Dennis said sternly, adjusting his sleeves

Jack stared at Dennis for a few moments and then broke into a burst of loud laughter, "It won't end well for you if you do", he cackled, mimicking Dennis

"What would you do?!" Jack bellowed, slamming his hand hard against the table

"I'm curious. What is it exactly do you think that you can do?" he asked

"Oh, you're so tough now, are you?", "Do not forget your place, Dennis. I can easily end your life if I want to. You're nothing and always will be. I'm just finally glad my sister finally saw you how we always have - A pathetic shameless loser",

Dennis had had enough. He shifted away from Yura, took a swig of his beer and gently placed it on the cupboard and slowly walked towards Jack.

Standing face to face with him, he sneered and then took a swift swing and slapped Jack on the cheeks, causing him to stagger a little, adding to the buzz of the alcohol, which was fast settling, quickly getting Jack intoxicated.

Jack's eyes widened in shock as he regained his composure. To him, Dennis was always a coward who could never stand up for himself, fight or curse, which was one of the things he detested most about his brother-in-law and why he constantly bullied him.

But staring back at Dennis now, he was dazed at the man he was looking at; this wasn't the weak loser he once knew. He seemed to have changed entirely.

However, that did not stop Jack from rushing at him, as he took a mean swing at Dennis, but Dennis tactically dodged the punch, and kicked his brother-in-law down easily.

But Jack refused to stay down. He quickly got up and threw another punch at Dennis, who defended it and held his fist, breaking Jack's wrist.

Jack winced in pain,

"This is not over. You're nothing, Dennis Apollo! This is your mistake! I promise you. You're a dead man walking!",

"No one is going to care for you, no one can ever love a pathetic loser like you" "You fool! You're going to regret ever crossing paths with us",

Dennis slapped him again and bellowed, "Get out!".

Jack scurried away and staggered to his feet, trying to conceal his fear. He shot Dennis an evil smile and started walking towards the door, keeping some distance between him and his brother-in-law, before hurrying away as he reached the door.

As Jack ran away, Dennis walked over to the refrigerator and took out another beer and slid it on the counter towards Yura. He brought out another one for himself and opened it,

"I'm sorry about that" he took a swig and apologized,

"Just some loose strings I have to deal with",

"You said your grandfather is not well?" he asked, staring at Yura.

"No, he is not", Yura replied softly, and Dennis could see the urgency and worry in her eyes. He walked over to the door and unhung his blazer from the doorknob, turned and said to Yura

"Let's go",

She looked slightly confused,

"Where are we going?" She asked

"To save your grandfather", Dennis replied calmly, walking out the door.
