Awake

Hurt. Pain. Maybe a little tinge of regret.

The main emotions bubbling in her chest as she stared at his number.

Since he left, he didn't send her the last thing as a text. No calls to reject or messages to ignore. No matter how much she tried to convince herself that she didn't want him back, her heart long for him.

A tiny part of her wished he made an effort to explain instead of letting them separate on a bad note.
