The old man called out simultaneously as he approached her, he saw her knees become weak as she bent over on the table, with her hand on her ribcage, where she had a gunshot injury,

“You are bleeding.”

He said as he raised her and placed her on the bed gently,

Sage ran to a shelf on the other side of the room and grabbed a box that was on the shelf. It was a medicine box; he opened it up quickly, picked out sterilised cotton balls, and began to clean off the surface of the wound.

The injury had opened up due to her strenuous shouting and now was bleeding profusely,

“Look at what you are doing to yourself, Amber,” Sage said as he continued to wipe her wounds.

“Just take a look at this.” He said, pointing at her injury,

“When we thought you were healing just fine, you decided to stress yourself and re-open the wounds,” he said with a frown and watched as her tears ran down her cheeks.
