Chapter 38: The Fight

Mrs Richard was almost unable to sleep that night. Her daughter has asked her to get some rest at home but what she got was the exact opposite of that. She was worried, troubled and could not being herself to close her ears in a peaceful sleep. That morning, she got up extremely early, waking her husband up as well to get ready. And in no time, they left for the station. But things didn't go the way she had planned because when they arrived at the station, there was a little riot outside and that stopped them from bailing their child immediately. When the riot was sorted, Roseline rushed into the building, greeting the officers hurriedly as she walked past them, to go see her daughter.

"Good morning, my darling." Roseline said eagerly, her voice shaking as she spoke.

"You're here so early, mom. Did you even get any sleep?" Roseline asked, noting her mother's large eye bags.
