Sean was taken aback by Hermione's words and he blurted out, "What?"

Hermione bobbed her head happily, her eyes were still glossy with tears. "I can't believe it too. He said he was sorry and he has already been extremely punished for what he did. He said I should thank…" Her words hung as she remembered. She blinked in confusion and looked at Dylan who just stood like a ghost in the room.

"Oh, my God!" Madame Sharon explained as the news finally settled on her. "You're trying to say we're free from the claws of Apex Conglomerate?" She asked in disbelief.

Hermione nodded, looking at her mom. She was looking like someone about to cry that instant. "Yes, mom. We're free." She happily said.

Dylan tilted his head at Sean with a smirk on his face. He could tell the predicament written on his face. Sean was looking lost and confused.

He frowned and looked at Hermione. "Uh, are you sure it was Roger Mallory? I mean, the guy didn't look like someone to easily forgive."
