Kyra was the one driving the all-electric Alfa Wolfe sports car.

“Can you put it in self-driving mode?” Russell asked. “I want to see how it works.”

“Oh, it’s actually pretty good,” Kyra switched the self-driving mode on. “The car can see what’s miles ahead of us. Not just that. It can even lay a 3D map and figure out the vehicles that were in other streets even when they’re out of view.”

“It must be sending a lot of invisible rays to get that info,” Russell opined.

“Indeed, though I don’t know how exactly that works,” Kyra let go of the steering wheel. The car drove on its own, heading toward the destination. “I bought some other electric cars in the past, but they were faulty one way or another. The self-driving mode wasn’t up to the mark in any of those, but this car is different. Do you know that there are only three cars like this one in the entire world?”

Russell was shocked. “What’s the price?”

“100 million.”
