Chapter Twenty Eight

He threw his head back and pushed his chair a bit closer to his glasses shelf.

His record book was still there, just where he had left it the last time.

Richard had always loved keeping notes of everything he did.

Summary of his daily activities went into the note book.

It could not pass as a diary because he maintained a stiff formal tone in his writings within the book.

He began scribble the events of the day.

When he got to the line where he had to write about Elise’s kidnap, his heart fell.

If he was on duty as her personal security, she would never had fallen into the wrong hands. He bit hard on his lips.

Perhaps, this whole situation would make Elise’s mother to b kinder to him because she would see a tangible reason to allow him to be her daughter’s person security guard.

He was still lost In thoughts when a part of him figured out that Elise’s parents would be most likely helpless as it was really late at night and there was no way they were going to go after their child
