CHAPTER NINE: The Meeting

" Are you really surprised that the boss is actually a woman or you don't believe I'm the boss?" she asked smiling while sipping her cup of coffee on the table.

" If I tell you that I'm not surprised,then I will be lying. I didn't expect this especially with the information I got regarding the boss," James said honestly.

" I do hear that a lot from people. Nobody will ever expect to meet a woman at the mantle of leadership," she said.

" I actually became the boss because of my father. He is suffering from an illness and could not wish for someone else to take over from him except his only daughter," she said and James finally nodded in understanding.

He found it difficult when he saw that she was the real boss. Who will even deny it when she possess the boss aura capable of making people bow down for her.

" I heard that you were the one who discovered the identity of my man,that is quite impressive," Helena said with admiration.

She's not someone who talks a lot and it's even surprising to Williams that she's the one talking little that when she's somehow you will actually force to say something.

" Don't let us waste much time as time is already fast spent. What is the reason you are actually here?" She asked now in her bossy tone which James did not go unnoticed.

" We came from a far place in need of an item. We searched our entire town for the item and even the nearest town to us, but we could not find it. It was then someone informed us that the only place we can get it is from you," James said.

" What is this item you are ready to search the whole universe for?" She asked teasingly.

" It's the Ivin poison," James said and he noticed the surprise on the boss and Williams face when he uttered that.

" Are you sure it's the Ivin poison or any other poison?" She asked.

" It's definitely the Ivin poison. One of our close associates was poisoned and it was discovered that it's this same poison. That is actually the reason for searching for the poison since the doctors are still trying to find the antidote to the poison.

" If that's the case, the person won't be alive until this moment," she said with mistrust.

" We left our town in search of this poison three weeks ago. We were told to find the poison, so that necessary examinations could be taken to produce an antidote. We are surely the next victims like our friend, and the reason for the desperate search for the poison," James said, and prays she falls for that.

He was starting to feel uneasy about coming. He hopes he or Alex won't mess up the plan with the way it's going. He can not reveal his identity when he's not yet sure of their identity or mission especially since their mode of operations are highly secretive.

" This Ivin poison you are searching for is highly dangerous and rare to obtain in Raws. The last bottles of the poison was purchased weeks ago and since then it has been difficult getting them," she said.

" The person who bought them is he also a businessman like you?" Alex asked.

" Why are you asking about the person?" She queried.

" We mean no harm, we're trying to find out if we can obtain it from the poison," James said chipping in.

" Okay,we don't give out the information about our clients so I won't be able to answer that. The only help I can render is to reach out to you when we get new bottles of the poison," she said.

James was not satisfied with that,they were not interested in the bottle of the poison from the beginning but the record of those who purchased it from them. He's sure the killer bought the poison from them with what he notices.

These people controls most business in Raws but they do this underneath. There's currently no way of obtaining the record from them and that is what is essential to them but he knows best not to mention that.

The place is a danger zone and he knows that considering the location and the nature of the area. It would be funny to evince his real intent there if he plans to return home safe and sound.

" We will so much appreciate if you can actually do that. Our lives is at stake and the poison is really needed," James said and wrote down his number.

Meanwhile, during the process of James writing out his number,Alex stylishly installed a recording device in the office at least to be able to follow up with their activities.

That was actually plan B so that there will be able to follow up with their future activities and probably get the idea of those who purchased the poison from one of their future discussions.

" No problem,we will definitely do that. It was nice meeting you guys, especially the person who continues to amaze me with his intelligence," she said smiling which reveals her set of white teeth and dimples. Helena is an epitome of beauty with no doubt about that.

They got back into the car and finally released the breath they've been trying to hold for hours. The place is highly sensitive than they imagined even with few men with her in the office.

" I hope we obtain some facts with the recording device we installed," Alex said.

" Hopefully, and if we don't get the facts needed,we try another means.," James said with a grin on his face.

They were still having a conversation,when they heard a knock on the door of their car.....
