Just then Martins walked in.as he stepped into the gruesome scene, the old man smile widened. "Ah, my wayward grandson," he greeted, his voice dripping with false warmth. "You arrive just in time to witness a demonstration of loyalty."

Martins' eyes darted around the room, taking in the pool of blood that surrounded the lifeless body of Zeus, the cold, impassive faces of the gathered men, and Bradley's blood-soaked hands. His fear was evident in the tremble of his voice as he spoke.
