Jenna kind of realized how important this was going to be to everyone who cared to hear about the news but decided to keep her mouth shut because there was absolutely no reason for her to panic about something that had no basis.

The only reason why she would be a little bit mad at Miranda was the fact that Ethan had not played his role well. As brilliant as he was as a businessman he was not really a great spouse.

The lady in front of her was experiencing a huge shock that she didn't quite blame her for; instead, she focused on what was right.

"I can tell you that I understand your dilemma but I would be a huge liar for saying that. The only thing I'm going to allude to is that maybe you should work on your issues with him instead of coming to dump it all on me. How about that?" She inquired stylishly.

That was going to cause a lot of issues, and she would rather just skip it, but the fact that she had a lot of people lounging around waiting for her to fall into a trap had her very ca

Jenna raised her hands in surrender and took further steps backward, hoping that she was able to salvage the situation before this woman went out of hand. Nothing was going to prepare her for coming in contact with a psychopath who thought that she was normal. This was one of the reasons she had run away from the vicinity, and now Miranda still haunted her down. It would have been easier to believe if it was Cassandra, but this time around, she had Miranda to contend with. "I think you are about to make a huge mistake with your actions. This has not gotten to that stage yet so why are you trying to kill me?" Miranda shrugged calmly pretending like she had no idea of what the lady was saying. "I asked you to let Ethan be, but you refused the first time and called him to save you instead. Maybe this time, when I get you out for good, I will have his full attention." She spoke. Jenna's heart rate skyrocketed at the information. What the lady didn't understand was that they were not

Without wasting any more time, Jenna jumped left, her head almost connecting with one of the furniture in the house but she refused to get killed by a woman who was just jealous out of her mind. It was after she ran that she realized that the gun was fake and now the tables had turned because she had reached into her cabinet and also brought out her gun, shocking Miranda who was completely clueless. This was quite annoying because now she had to really think about what to do now that she had the upper hand. "I bet you are a bit worried for your life aren't you? This is exactly how I feel when you try to pester me just because you think that I am in a relationship with your husband." She responded, Miranda's heart suddenly skyrocketed because now she was in the face of danger. Ethan's warning resounded in her brain as she wondered why she ever took such a wrong decision and now she was going to be left to deal with the consequences that came with it. Cassandra sat in her high chair pondering on what her life had become in the past few months. Watching the flames grow bigger was a testament that she was doing everything wrong and that she needed much help even though she didn't want to admit it. There was a lot to change about herself, and most importantly, she needed to make sure that those things were done as quickly as possible. The first thing she did was to go on the media and schedule a meeting where she could have a heart-to-heart conversation with people and change everything that had worked against her in the past. The first thing she needed to do was to brush up on herself and make sure that people no longer saw her the way she appeared, she was nothing to be reckoned with if she wanted to be true to herself but that wasn't going to be a limitation because then she needed to focus on what was more important. Sitting in front of the crowd, she watched them clap for her quietly as she looked into the camera. "We ha

Jenna watched from behind the cell, looking at the woman who had almost made her commit murder. She knew that everyone was going to point accusing fingers at her when she wasn't even the one with the problem. It would have been better for her to deal with it before the cops arrived because now they have stopped her from treating Miranda to a worthy battle.Instead it was almost as though she was the villain here when she wasn't Ethan looked at the two women and realized that they were almost the same and wondered why he was not able to pick up on their excesses in the first place because now he was getting to realize how important it was for him to be more careful of them. They were a little bit irritated if he did say so himself because how did they ever expect him to like any of them when they wanted to pull the trigger at the slightest provocation? "I assure you this is something that can be sorted out between them." He whispered to the police officer who was a little bit perple

Ethan knew that having to come to a conclusion right now was going to make things even grow worse so he chose the easy way out. "I think I have other conditions for choosing. If you want to be arraigned for attempted murder, then you have to be confident enough to tell me which I wouldn't in any way, dispute. I just have only one thing to say to you which is the fact that you and I have to escape having scandals." Ethan said. Miranda knew he was telling the truth but that was completely not what she wanted to hear. She wanted him to make a choice based on right now and then she'll be able to hold him accountable to eat but now that he was trying to deflect, she felt like it was nothing short of a way of him getting out of this mess. "I see what both of you are trying to do here. I just wouldn't allow it. You can try all you want to make me look like a fool but it wouldn't happen. Do you know why? Because I am even a step ahead of you even if you do not want to admit that." She resp

Ethan looked at the expanse of land before him, sitting on a chair and enjoying the scenery. He would have had a problem with this if he didn't understand how important it was to give himself some break. Ducks flew around and perched on the waters beside him, but he didn't allow that to stop him from doing whatever he wanted. The next thing that he had in mind was to finalize the doings before things grew out of hand. "Loving memories of my mother has been a lot for me to handle, I sometimes wonder why it took me so long to fathom the fact that there had been a whole lot that I have been missing." A man sang in the distance, coming closer to where they sat and acting as a distraction to him. He dropped some cash into the man's bowl in front of him before moving away immediately. He didn't want to waste his time arguing about something that wouldn't normally take so much time and energy and instead cause him more headache. As he was leaving the man called him back with a small smi

  • VOWS OF VENGEANCE    Devious

Due to the manner of what he was searching for he refused or rather made an unspoken rule where he wouldn't have to drink alcohol outside his house so that he didn't divulge trade secrets on the altar of carelessness. As soon as he entered the house he saw those lips from the living room to the stairs and wondered how all of this came about when he had never decided to do that. This was Miranda probably celebrating something with one of her friends and he was no longer interested in having conversations ever since he realized the level of her IQ.Although it wasn't too low, it still wasn't one of the things that he wanted to ever encounter in his entire life and wanted to do away with anything that reminded him of being a low life.He had been there once and would not ever want to go back to such a state. Miranda came downstairs with a bowl of fruits in one hand, her thighs parting slowly as she glided towards him. "What do y

  • VOWS OF VENGEANCE    Millennial Rage

"This is preposterous! If you have something to tell me then you better go ahead instead of telling me that you brought a stranger into our company. I have allowed you to make a lot of decisions without looking back but this is not one I am going to be pleased with and I deserve an apology for thinking that you can just spring up anything you like on me." Miranda challenged Ethan immediately when she saw Liam. This was a man out of a family that everyone avoided but that was the same person that this man felt was going to be a great addition to the company. He had been facing backlash and had refused to surface at any interview point which made him feel a little bit weird but decided to take it anyway. It was supposed to be harmless stuff but now she couldn't even fathom what he was doing anymore. If there was a better way of putting his actions it would be betrayal. Williams stretched out in prison, looking for a better way of handling the situation but found none as everything that came knocking on his door came with a lot of baggage that he could not even comprehend and was looking for the best way to handle the situation. He shouldn't have allowed his anger to get the best out of him because now he was behind bars again for the same reason he wanted to leave. "Do not come over here unless you have something tangible to tell me. If you want to convince me why don't you go ahead and just tell me from the start instead of making me believe that I have a chance but that's not the truth of the matter." He said a little bit annoyed when he saw Ethan again. This time Ethan had forgotten what it felt to be remorseful especially when he came to somebody like this and he wanted to treat him to a point where he would regret his life and never tried the same thing that he did in the beginning. "I was going to be merciful to you but I realized that you

  • The Returnee

Williams looked at the interior of the cell wondering how his life had declined to this state where he could no longer feed properly and was left to rot inside a place where he had absolutely no idea what was going on. It was almost as though he was wasting his time here when it could be outside taking revenge. The amount of pain that he felt was enough to send him almost across borders, but he didn't say a word; instead, he just kept on looking. The only reason that he had not committed suicide was because he didn't want Ethan and Miranda to win. They were the ones behind all of this he knew this. He just needed somebody who could trust him enough to bring him out of this mess and then he would show them the stuff that he was made of without having to break a sweat. The problem of having to wait for so long before somebody decided to take pity on him was something that he did not want to take for granted, but at the same time, he was still trying to figure out what to do next.

  • Odds and Opps

A little more push and Williams would have confessed that he was the one who had pulled that stunt but he already had a goal and had not achieved it yet. He would rather die than to speak up, even if the people were being screened one after the other. "Oh, is there anything wrong with you apart from the fact that you already have things set up? I don't know why you will restrict us from leaving when my mother is already in the hospital? I can't stay here simply because you did not trust that the people you employed would not have a hand in this shenanigans!"As truthful as his words might have sounded, everything was completely fake to Ethan and he began to watch the person carefully. For him to possess such an audacity, he had something to hide and it was not something small. Phil's manager also felt the same way and he turned to look at the person who was challenging him. This wasn't somebody who was begging for a job, instead it was somebody who couldn't wait to get out of thi

  • Explosions

"Somebody grab this man! He was the one talking to her before she fainted. Who knows if he has done something simply because she doesn't like him anymore? I don't know why you would subject yourself to such horror simply because you cannot take the hint that this woman doesn't want you in her life anymore?!" The insult did nothing against Ethan as Cassandra's fiance kept on shouting and trying to disgrace him."I'm sure you have the CCTV cameras, why do you act like a local? If you cannot use your money wisely, do you even think you should get married?" Ethan pointed at him in a derogatory manner. "I'm not going to stand here and watch you insult me simply because you cannot use your intelligence. I don't bloody care about your opinion about me either, in case you have not noticed."The insults run deeper than Phil intended it to. His face colored, as he moved closer, attempting to smack this man across the face and show everyone that he was capable. "Oh you wouldn't dare do that to

Williams watched from the server's desk, wearing his mask over his face as he moved around, entertaining visitors and asking what they would like. This idea was suggested by his friend which he had initially thought didn't make any sense until he realized how important it was to him and then figured out that he had probably lost a lot."So, what the hell is this? Do you think that I would not have been mad at you or something? I have more than enough reason not to listen to your words even if you try." Cassandra challenged Ethan when he pointed out the obvious. "My husband is a straight man, he loves me so much and...""He is bisexual. Cassandra you don't want to end up with someone like this. You cannot cope. You know this deep down, so why the unnecessary anger at me? Didn't you have a check like you should? or let me guess... You just wanted to snatch anyone that you could find and didn't mind what could come out of it right?""Yeah, and what business of yours is it? Is there any

"Merriment has never suited anyone better than you." Ethan said with a small smile that screamed annoyance when he came in contact with Cassandra.Cassandra's eyes widened in horror at his presence, hoping that this was nothing but a prank. "You came!" She exclaimed.Ethan laughed at her unnecessary surprise because he felt like she should have known by now that he would have figured out that she was trying to move on with another person. "What kind of ex would I be if I didn't show up at your intimate engagement? Does Williams know that you are getting married to another person?" He asked in a good natured tone, shocking her to the bone.If anyone had told Cassandra a long time ago that she would have to bother herself so much about Ethan, she would have refused and called them a liar. "So what?" She challenged, "Are you going to tell him? Are you going to scream at the top of your voice that I have decided to move on with my life and not get carried away by whatever is expected o

  • The Wedding

"Engaged? To whom?" Ethan asked with mild curiosity, as he kept on scrolling through his phone, looking for the news in the media. How she had managed to keep it hush was still a surprise to him because immediately the media got wind of such news, they would have a field day publishing it to whomever it may concern. "So, according to insiders, it is rumored that now that Williams has been stripped of his position and she has no need for him anymore, she decided to move on with life and I don't blame her one bit." "Yeah, right. That is wonderful to hear. I wouldn't advise her to stay with him either." Ethan responded. Not only was Williams now broke, he was also a woman beater, who knew what she could say that would anger him and that may lead to her demise, so it was better that she was far away from him where he couldn't touch her. "Yeah, right. I have absolutely nothing to fear, and at the same time, I still feel like there is an issue somewhere that I have to address. Do you h

  • The Old Flame

Ethan leafed through the pages of information before him, enjoying his solitude. He had been used to being alone most of the time and now that wasn't just going to change because Miranda had also traveled to Zanzibar.Since she wasn't wanted by the cops, there was no need for her to remain in the country like her ex fiance and while there was a huge difference between both parties, they ensured that they remained as cordial as possible. His phone rang, cutting off his attention from what he considered important to himself."Jenna?" "Y-yeah, I'm on my way to your house. I hope you are at home. Even if you aren't, I would wait for you. I wanted to inform you about my movement so that you don't get worried about it." She explained. As much as he would have loved some more explanation he just figured out that she always found her way around things and the best way was to let her do her thing. He could handle her surprises better than Miranda. "Tell me the details for your arrival. Hav

  • The Recruit

"I have only wanted nothing more than to have someone by my side who could always understand me whenever there were problems. Mr Ethan is a dangerous person to cross in case most of you have not figured out that yet. If you have forgotten, I think this is your reminder." The man kept on speaking. Ethan watched them from his office, he needed somebody to put instead of him by the time he was gone from Miranda's company. He of all people knew that he wouldn't be here forever and that was enough to send him into a frenzy. It was also enough to make him begin to have other thoughts. "So, has there been anything that you have done against this company that we don't know because the moment we find out, trust me when I say that you wouldn't be spared. I don't care how long it has taken you to build a reputation. I would crumble it." Lily in the sales department spoke up. She wasn't going to allow somebody to make her look like the bad person when it wasn't as though he was also perfect h
