In the dimly lit room, Alex, still bound to a chair, stared in disbelief at the person now holding a wooden beam.

Actually, Alex had suspected that someone would do this to him, but he didn't think it would happen so soon.

The man currently gripping the beam undoubtedly held a deep grudge against Alex, as he had ended up in prison because of him. However, despite this, Alex felt no remorse for having sent him to jail, given that the man had harmed someone.

Alex shook his head as he watched the man approach. His feelings were far from calm, but he couldn't afford to appear scared, especially in front of someone who now looked at him with such vengeance.

"I never expected you to be released so quickly," Alex began, trying to initiate a conversation between the two.

I was currently holding the beam and ready to strike Alex at any moment, deciding to step closer. He now stood right in front of Alex, poised to swing the beam he held.

"I truly didn't expect to find you here," he mocked Alex
