The increase in strength had already occurred, with high speed attacks toward the monsters. The condition that made those monsters confused gave an advantage to Zeigar.

"Tsk...." But, even though there was an increase in strength, it didn't mean it would give a weakness against the monsters.

For example, the gorilla monster, the monster's body defense was considered very strong to the point that it was not easy to injure. Zeigar's sword pierced, and it was difficult to pull it back.

And, this immediately made Zeigar's body a soft target, he rolled several meters, but still managed to get up. Damage to his equipment occurred.

Thirty percent of his equipment was damaged, but it was still good enough to use.

His eyes looked towards the source of the sound, it turned out to be the monster he had seen earlier. It seemed the creature didn't stop, instead, it moved to chase the combat vehicle that was driving.

Deliberately, Dohn slowed down this vehicle, he knew that Zeigar would be able to catch up to this vehicle if he activated combat mode, and the man's running speed would be able to exceed the vehicle from normal limits.

But, everything seemed not to go as desired, what they saw instead was a wild monster moving at high speed.

Zom, Ham, and Rega stared at the monster, they could feel the deathly aura from it.

"Why is this monster still chasing us? Shouldn't we be able to escape..." Rega turned to his two comrades, and they had already taken their rifles, ready to shoot the monster.

"We don't know, but you should know that monsters like this will always appear, they have high combat power, and even the abilities of current human technology may not necessarily be able to stop them..." said Zom, who then immediately fired a shot.

This monster was not as easy as imagined, the energy light manifested as bullets could still be avoided even though its speed exceeded the normal human eye's vision.

Ham also did the same, but his shot missed too. They both continued to spend ammunition to stop the movement of the monster, but it was futile.

"Darn, why is it like this? This monster seems very skilled at avoiding our attacks..." Zom complained, feeling like he had to jump from the vehicle and fight like a man.

Swosh...

But, the monster didn't wait for that decision, it jumped high until it was on top of the combat vehicle.

This shake caused indications of damage above, the incessant sound and the red glow like a disco at the peak of anxiety.

"What... how can it be up there?" Dohn asked, furrowing his brow, he immediately tried to move his vehicle faster.

Dash...

But, the monster seemed already very clever, although accelerated, it quickly hit the vehicle, and one shake immediately had a significant impact.

"Can't you guys do something?" Dohn asked anxiously.

"We've tried, but it can dodge our attacks..." replied Zom.

Dohn had no choice but to try with all his might, he kept grumbling with sweat pouring down.

"We might be able to hit it from inside this carriage..." Ham interjected, confusing his two friends.

Ham then aimed the muzzle of his rifle upwards, Zom immediately understood and did the same. By aiming upwards, they felt where the rumble had been murmuring since earlier.

Bang! Bang...

They both fired several shots.

Boom...

It was not the desired result, instead, the condition of the vehicle worsened due to the shake.

"Did we hit it earlier?" Zom asked with frustration.

Ham couldn't give a word, he also tried to figure out why their previous attacks didn't work. They hadn't fully understood the abilities of the monster, and from this, they didn't understand that attacks like that couldn't penetrate the monster's strong skin.

Normal bullets used to kill humans or animals would not work, so they created weapons far more relevant to defeat the monsters, but it seemed that each monster had a unique endurance.

The attack actually did hit the monster, still injuring it, but not too strongly, it only felt like rubber hitting its skin.

The monster's hand began to appear, successfully destroying the vehicle's ceiling, which surprised everyone.

"This is bad, it's almost able to destroy this carriage! How long can this vehicle hold on?" Ham asked.

"Not long, if it continues like this, we can only hold on for a few minutes..." replied Dohn, who kept driving.

They all fell into silence, not knowing what to do anymore. Soon the monster would appear, and then launch an attack. Ham and Zom began to think that jumping from this vehicle might be the best option, but to do that, they needed to ensure that everything would go smoothly.

Rega, who could only remain silent like a fool, once wondered why his ambition was to be part of the security forces.

"Yes, I once wanted to save all human lives, but it turns out, I'm still naive! I thought of this like a game, while in reality, it's very different from what I imagined..."

If possible, Rega wanted to relive his childhood and would never again say he wanted to be a member of the security forces.

One of their comrades had already died, even this became a very bad moment, and now they would soon experience the same.

The time for reflection began to make heads hear strange sounds approaching, but it felt strange, it seemed different from the hallucinations playing in Rega's head, he immediately turned to the source of the sound.

How surprised he was to see there was one object approaching, from a distance it was Zeigar still moving even though the combat suit he was wearing was already damaged, even his head showed.

"I have to be able to catch up to him! Damn, why did it become like this?" Before this happened, he spent time finishing off the confused monsters, but unknowingly, it took time and they were very tough.

He thought it was pointless, but luckily he still had functioning equipment. Without further thought, he chased the moving vehicle, on top of which was the monster from earlier.

"Leader..." all the members said as they saw Zeigar approaching.

But, Dohn immediately lowered his eyelids, he knew very well the capabilities of the combat suit Zeigar was wearing wouldn't maintain speed for too long. Overheat would occur, and if that happened, the system would experience damage and wouldn't provide maximum performance.

Without being told, Zeigar also understood this, his goal was not to get into the carriage, he looked towards Rega.

Their eyes stared intensely at each other, and automatically Rega shivered, he didn't know what was happening, but his brain immediately repeated Zeigar's words during the fight.

Ham and Zom then saw Rega acting strangely, this young man stood tall with clenched fists.

"Alright, Leader, I'll do it!" Rega then pointed at Zom, his eyebrows narrowed sharply with his lips downturned.

Zom couldn't say much, he shivered to see the young man so serious.
