JUNIOR YOUNG MASTER

Who was Leo? Leo Bishop was a middle aged man and the richest man in Georgia. He was a powerful and influential person that several people admired.

However, that powerful Leo was kneeling to someone just by hearing that person's voice alone. If this was said outside, no one would believe it. But of course it was true.

While everybody knew that Leo Bishop was powerful, people didn't know that without a powerful backer, he couldn't have been in such a position. Infact the Bishop Group headed by Leo wasn't truly his. There was nothing wrong saying Leo was just a caretaker for his backer.

Finally, the owner of the commanding voice stepped out from his hidden corner and switched on the light, revealing himself to be Elijah.

Elijah looked at Leo coldly as he took a seat on the sofa and crossed his legs. "I'm sure you must have been happy when you didn't hear from me since and was already planning to take over my properties."

Leo, still kowtowing, immediately responded, "No, Junior young master. I would never do that."

"Then why didn't you call since?" Elijah asked still with his cold tone.

"Junior young master, i tried reaching you several times, but I couldn't. Then later i heard you were dead. Even if you were no longer here, i would never take your things. Everything is yours; I would never take what is yours."

Elijah only said those words to confirm that Leo was still loyal to him. Although, there was a low probability of Leo betraying him but Elijah didn't want to take any chances. After all betrayal had made him a fool for three years.

"Have a seat" Elijah spoke. Immediately, Leo obeyed. He stopped knee towing and sat down.

"Cigarettes??" Elijah asked.

Leo swiftly rose from his seat and handed Elijah a pack of cigarettes.

Upon examining it, Elijah asked, "Don't you have any cheaper ones?"

"I'm afraid not, Junior young master, but I can fetch some for you," Leo offered.

Though Hayley didn't let Elijah smoke. Sometimes, he did smoke secretly and while he was still a fool, he enjoyed it a lot. He was already used to smoking less expensive cigarettes.

"Never mind, I'll just smoke these," Elijah replied, taking out a cigarette and placing it between his lips. Leo stepped forward and lit it for him before returning to his seat.

After taking a puff, Elijah opened up, "Three years ago, someone poisoned me, and I was saved by a third rate family here in Georgia. I've been living with them ever since, having lost my memory and become a mentally unstable person. There will be a few signs during my rescue. Although its been three years now, i want you to investigate this."

"Leave it to me, Junior young master," Leo acknowledged.

Though Elijah had a suspect in mind about who poisoned him, he chose to keep it to himself.

Leo finally spoke, "Junior young master, if you wish, I can arrange a fine villa for you to reside in during your stay here in Georgia."

"No need for that; I'm married," Elijah shook his head.

Leo was dumbfounded.

"Don't ask too much for now," Leo, who was about to speak, was silenced by Elijah's words.

Suddenly, a thought clicked in Elijah's head, and he asked, "Do you have any connection with the Payton family?"

"Payton family!" Leo furrowed his brows, appearing deep in thought before answering cautiously. "Yes, I'm in a co-operative business partnership with them. Why do you ask?"

"Terminate it," Elijah said, his words carrying an air of authority that sent shivers down Leo's spine.

Although Leo wanted to know why Elijah wanted to sever ties with the Payton family, he knew what to and what not to ask when it came to Elijah's matters. So he immediately acknowledged Elijah's words, saying, "Yes, Junior young master, as you wish."

"Junior young master, this is my number in case you need to reach me. Then there is a little over 20 million dollars in this card," Leo handed over an elegantly designed card to Elijah. "If I knew you were going to come over, I would have prepared more."

Elijah nodded indifferently as he took two cards from Leo. One was an ATM card, and the other had Leo's number on it. "Thank you, Leo. I'll keep this in mind," Elijah replied with a stoic expression.

Most people would be overjoyed receiving such an amount of money, but not Elijah. Money was just a number to him, and Leo knew that as well, so he wasn't surprised by Elijah's indifferent reaction.

Taking a deep breath, Elijah finally spoke, "Prepare a room for me tonight," Elijah said, laying on the sofa as he finished his words. It was evident that Elijah had a lot on his mind.

The next morning, Elijah was awakened from his sleep by the sound of his phone ringing. The caller was Hayley. Last night, his phone's battery had ran out and it wasn't until this morning that Leo found a way to charge it.

"Elijah, where are you?" Hayley's voice held a tone of genuine concern.

He replied, "Mom said I shouldn't come home, so I decided to sleep outside." Elijah felt a pang of guilt for lying to Hayley, but he couldn't risk revealing that he had recovered or his true identity just yet.

Anxiously, Hayley responded, "I'm so sorry. Don't pay too much attention to Mom; you know she says a lot of things she doesn't really mean. Please come home, I'm really worried about you."

"Okay," Elijah agreed.

Leo had offered to give Elijah a ride home, he declined the offer and opted to take a taxi instead.

Arriving home, Hayley immediately embraced him, then carefully looked him over to ensure he wasn't injured.

"You should stay home from now on and avoid going out. I'll make sure to protect you," Hayley asserted. She then led Elijah inside, but shortly after, she grabbed her handbag and stepped out again.

Elijah could sense something was wrong from her words.
