“How is this even possible?” Roman asked as he stared at the bowl of soup. Ben could only chuckle. He was by the sink now dressed in a blue apron as he did the dishes. Florence, who was standing at the counter with Roman, laughed at his words. Ben had made dinner, and the soup was supposedly dessert. Roman hadn’t been convinced at first that the soup would be okay for dessert. He claimed they could have had something better like ice cream, but Ben had been determined to let them try his chicken soup.
