Chapter 21: Ron To The Rescue
Ron dropped his burger and wiped his hands with a napkin. The others didn't even notice when he left the table. They were too engrossed in their gossip to pay attention. "Sena, I need you to slow down and tell me what's going on." He left the building, already hailing an Uber. There was still some cash left from what Sena had borrowed him this morning. It would be enough to take him to her destination. "Ron! My close friend, Dahlia, got into trouble with some thugs. She just sent me an sos and I didn't know who else to call. You have to hurry!" An Uber stopped for him and Ron told the man where he wanted to go and the car started moving. It took him ten minutes to arrive at the University. He was still on the phone with Sena. She was too scared for her friend to be alone where she was. Being in contact with Ron made her feel hopeful that Dahlia would survive. "They are threatening to take her away and have their way with her," Sena's tears spilled harder, "Ron, you have to find h

Chapter 22: Arrest The Culprit
The leader of the thugs kicked the security guard in the face, blood spurted from his nose immediately and he groaned in pain, holding his face as they laughed. Ron outsmarted the men holding him at gun point. He was too swift for them and before they knew it, their guns were on the floor while they pissed their pants. “How—How did you do that?” one of them stuttered, falling back from the scene. “Don’t try to understand how. You could never.” Ron hit the side of his hand on the thug’s neck, paralyzing him and the other one moved away, picking up a baton to arm himself. The leader who held Dahlia captive squeezed the scruff of her neck which he held and she screamed, begging Ron to save her with her gaze on him. “Your face was all over the tabloids a while ago. Aren’t you married to Bella Humphrey?” the thug grinned because he had just discovered who Ron really was. “The pauper who married into wealth. I hear your job is to cook and clean for the heiress. What a useless son-in-la

Chapter 23: The Five-Star Villa
But the director raised her hand to halt her guards from coming closer. She studied the scene and the guns on the floor and even the black masks. One man couldn’t have owned all of these. She sighed in annoyance, raising an angry brow at the liars. “So you are not the owners of these guns and masks?” The thug shook his head, a bit afraid, showing her his damaged hand, “We are not, Ms. Tilly! He came at all of us and began harming us. We tried to stop him from trespassing on school premises.” “Miles, because your father is part of the government does not give you immunity from every stupid decision you make.” “But I did nothing wrong!” He gestured wildly, eyeing the security guard and his daughter to keep shut while he framed Ron. “How would a useless son-in-law have access to firearms?” she crossed her arms over her chest, revealing that she knew just who Ron was, and coming closer. “You took your father’s things and decided to come and cause trouble at my university. Was it the

Chapter 24: You Can’t Order Me
The woman stood straight up like the past minute didn't happen. Ron narrowed his eyes at her, noticing the way her muscles were now tense. She turned to her bodyguards and said, "This matter would be addressed in my office. Take the three of them first. I'll see Miles Sterling and his group afterwards." Miles wore a triumphant smile. He knew he had just won the director over and he no longer had to worry about getting out of trouble. "But ma'am," the security guard held his bloody face, struggling to speak, "You can see that we are clearly not at fault. They attacked us." "Don't you get it. All of you are at fault for using violence in my school!" she snapped and Dahlia began to tremble. She was a transfer student, whose enrollment was based on a full-paid scholarship. Having a bad record with the school authorities could make her lose it and she didn't want that. Her father was just a mere guard. He couldn't afford to pay for her tuition if she lost this one and no one kne

Chapter 25: Ron The Medic
A few minutes later, they were in her office. The director wasn't sure what a lowlife-husband like Ron could possibly do to end what seasoned doctors have tried to put an end to and failed, but she sat still regardless. She didn't sit still in anticipation of a miracle, she anticipated his failure. “I have a feeling you are just wasting my time, Mr. Ron. Who knows you may have just made a lucky guess outside.” She squinted at him while he prepared. “You are right. I might have just been lucky, but shouldn’t we find out?” Ron could see the wheels in the director's head working and calculating. She was looking down on him just like everybody else has done to him since he got to this city. He smirked, anticipating the look of disappointment on her face when he proved her wrong. “So now what?” The director said, breaking into his thoughts. “First, you have to sit on this table and lift up your shirt.” The director didn't understand what he meant by what he had just said.

Chapter 26: The Bar, Gangs, and Deals
From the moment the principal saw that he was able to effortlessly take out those kids she knew that he was the right person to make this request to. Her sister owned a bar downtown and since the grand opening of the bar, the bar and her sister have been plagued by the local gang in the area. The police have tried time and time again to put an end to their operations but it didn't prove much. Once an aspect of their operation was cut off, another one resumed under a different guise and that made the owner and her sister worried for a long while. They even gave the gang monthly stipends to appease them, but they didn’t ever seem to be satisfied with whatever they paid them. They always came back asking for more like the bar is some money printing factory. They had also employed ex-military men to serve as bodyguards, but it's either the men weren't truly ex-military or the gang was made of some sort of material that was immune to the ex-military, whichever the case might h

Chapter 27: Turned Tables
She tossed a bank card at him. He expertly caught it in between his index and middle fingers like a trained ninja. This startled her and also gave her the confidence that she had just signed the deal with the right guy for the job. “That’s pocket money for you. Impress me and I’ll become more generous.” Ron raised a brow at the card, expression vague. “I’ll do my job.” The principal got up from the table to escort Ron out of the building. But he made way for her instead and in the process, his hands mistakenly brushed against her perky ass. His dick hardened at the feel it and Ron cursed under his breath. Her ass had been so soft and jiggly, he almost groaned aloud. He wondered if he was really that sexually starved. He knew that with his looks alone he could land any girl he ever wanted but he vowed to only be with his wife. His touch made her stop in her tracks. She could feel her nipples harden as she also became aroused at the thought of his hands on her. From the m

Chapter 28: Knight in Shining Armour
“How did it go with the principal? I know it’s our turn to go in now.” “The talk went well. Wanna know what was better than the talk?” Ron asked. “What?" Dahlia frowned, confused. "The look on Miles’ face when Ms. Tilly slapped him in the face after my talk with her,” Ron replied joyfully. Dahlia burst into laughter. The sound caught Ron's ears, it's been ages since he heard such a beautiful laugh. Sena and his wife were his entire life, but he had never heard anything like this. “It is safe to say that he wouldn't be disturbing you or your dad anytime soon," Ron added. "And if you are wrong?” Dahlia asked, imagining what would have become of her if this handsome knight in shining armor didn't come to her rescue or if he was just a minute late. “You can always call me. I’ll come to your rescue like today,” Ron said, patting her on the shoulder. “I'm serious though, he needs a doctor," he added. "And I just told you that we don't have the money for that,” Dahlia said, al

Chapter 29: Sensei Ron
“Good day, fellas. I'm guessing you guys are not here for your aspirin shots," He asked, making light of the situation. He signalled to Dahlia who was right behind him to leave the environment with her dad and they hurried away. The men kept advancing towards him, pedestrians were looking at the action about to go down, whispering amongst themselves. The odds were hugely stacked up against Ron. “Should we call the police,” someone said. “No, he looks like a thief. Maybe he stole from them and they want to teach him a lesson.” Ron huffed a small laugh at what he was hearing from people. He let the thugs corner him into the street beside the hospital, which lacked civilians. He anticipated the first blow and sure enough, one of the goons swung a bat at him. But he expertly dodged it and grabbed the man by his elbow and broke his hand. The man let out a scream like a little girl. The other men advanced unmoved, it seemed to Ron like there was a bounty on his head because

Chapter 30:
Ron didn't ease the pressure from the crushing. The bald man was still hellbent on playing tough and not giving out any information he had. “This is just the first phase of the waves of pain I can bring on you, so I'd advise you to tell me precisely what I want before I stop being friendly,” Ron asked, getting tired of the whole situation. Ron bent over the man and dipped his hands into his pocket, he brought out a pocket knife still sheathed. Ron smiled as ideas quickly ran through his head. "Well, have it your way," Ron said, unsheathing the knife. "Okay, okay, just chill out, man,” the bald man said, whimpering. "Look, it was nothing personal, we just had instructions to rough you up. You just pissed someone off and he wanted vengeance.” “Who ordered the hit?" The bald man swallowed hard, "You were not supposed to be this tough.” "That wasn't the answer to my question.” Ron added more force to his heel. “Okay, hold on, I'll tell you everything I know." At this point, the bal
