Wild boar tusk

“It’s now time to find another beast to kill.” Isaac sneered. “Let’s grind!”

For some reason, Isaac felt he has a limb on his back. He tried to move it but seemed it could only move in a single direction, which was pretty simple. They also moved at the same time, and Isaac felt confused about its usefulness.

It did not long after Isaac was struck with a sudden realization, and the previous exhilaration he felt descended to his being once more.

“Could it be?” Isaac's two big round eyes shone with countless lenses. “A-wings? I have wings? I have wings!”

Isaac then ordered the limbs on his back to flap, and it indeed moved! Isaac felt he moved forward slightly, which confirmed his guesses. He shrieked in happiness.

“So that’s why!”

Isaac remembered when he was battling the wild boar tusk earlier. He thought the limb on his back was the limb below his body, the legs. After all, he uses it to maneuver around, and he doesn’t have much time to ponder over it, for his mind was completely muddled from the bloodlust.

Isaac felt excited to control his wings and ordered them to flap without stopping. It moved according to his desires, and Isaac then looked below and saw he was moving upward! Isaac’s mind was enthralled by exhilaration, making him lose control of his wings and stumble to the ground.

Once stopped, Isaac felt the awkwardness of the situation and immediately stand up, looking in every direction, and tried to make sure no one saw him. It was embarrassing, to say the least, for his stupidity and dumbness brought him embarrassment.

He couldn’t be blamed though. Whose man didn’t dream of having wings and flying along with them? It was every man’s dream and desire to fly in the sky, which brought air transportation today in Isaac’s previous modern world.

Isaac took a minute to calm down, before practicing flying without much problem. He feared once he made mistakes amidst the hovering, if the height was enough to kill him, he couldn’t stand himself to die again in embarrassing moments.

It didn’t long before Isaac mastered the art of flying, as he continued to hover around, exploring the world he was transmigrated. Sooner, Isaac realized he was inside the dungeon due to the outlines of the terrain, which hid him from the outside world. Isaac didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

Was it good for him he was transmigrated right away inside the dungeon or not?

Possibly the question was answered by how Isaac felt.

“Now that I can maneuver around without a problem. I should hunt another wild boar tusk now,” Isaac thought. “This will be considered my first kill, considering I killed the wild boar tusk earlier only because of the blood lust. It influenced my mind, and I only think of killing the beast with a single aim.”

While Isaac kept playing the blurry scene about killing the wild boar tusk earlier. He came across a pair of them, peacefully eating the grass while swaying their tails to keep off the annoying flies. Their pair of tusks curved upward, while their round two-hole nose stuck out in the middle.

Their body was bulk, possibly enough for a human to deal an enormous blow once they tried to receive the wild boar tusk’s skill. Unless they have the skills to enhance their strength or defense to handle the wild boar tusk without a problem.

Compared with Isaac, who could hover and maneuver around with his little body. The skill, Charge, of the wild boar tusk, was practically useless against him. It was also one of the reasons why he managed to suck the blood of the wild boar tusk earlier alive. The wild boar tusk was as hopeless in such a situation as it could only helplessly wait for its death, feeling the torture against Isaac’s skill, Mosquito bite.

“Oh sheesh,” Isaac exclaimed in his thought. “I should try not to make a sound. Seeing the annoying flies bothering them, I can probably stealthily make my way without a problem.”

Isaac saw there were two of them from his unique perspective. As expected, he was familiar with the color and outline of such a beast and concluded it belonged to a wild boar tusk. However, it seemed there was a pair of them. Isaac felt conflicted.

“I should take this slowly.” Isaac calmly reminded in his mind, breathing out to calm himself. “There’s no need to be hasty. Unless I’m some kind of maniac who wanted to level up immediately.”

Isaac formed a plan in his mind, and once he decided. He patiently waited until everything was in order.

“Once everything is in place. It will be up to me how well I can play my part.”

Isaac once played a game of chess online. Chess was so engaging to him, so he studied it thoroughly to the point he became a Grandmaster. Isaac felt chess was similar to everything generally, whether life, games, wars, etc. Therefore, he always saw everything from the perspective as though he was playing a game of chess, watching every chess piece played on the chess board.

Although, in his current circumstance. There were no kings, considering he only needed to kill two wild boar tusks to level up. He felt the two of them could be a king, queen, and other officials, depending on what moves the two would take. Hence, Isaac thoroughly his enemies and himself before engaging in battle.

This was the art of war.

“The plan is set.” Isaac sneered at his thought. “It’s time to make a move.”

The pair of wild boars, which was eating earlier not far away from each other, weren’t together anymore. The grass was the cause, because of how the grass grow inside the dungeon. There was no farmer to take them. In addition, there was no sunlight for them to grow, but due to the water coming below the scattered soil, they grew.

They scattered inside the dungeon, which inevitably made the wild boar tusk didn’t notice they were apart from each other. Once the other died silently without alarming the other one, they could be taken out without a problem, but for Isaac, it was a slight hinder to his plan.

“How can I kill one of them without alarming the other?”

However, it didn’t mean Isaac didn’t realize the problem, for he had already formed a counter plan. Yet the probability of success, he didn’t know.

“I don’t know the effectiveness of my new skill yet, charge. Although this can also be a way to study them through combat, it also increased the uncertainty of the result.”

While Isaac was thinking, his focus didn’t waver on the pair of wild boar tusks. When the plan was in motion, he hesitated no more. He flapped his wings and moved! But he didn’t attack yet. It was now time to study how his vision works.

“My vision is similar to the thermal vision. This should be the reason why I can still see through the dark. Though, I don’t know if it is really dark here.”

Isaac imitated the annoying flies, which surprisingly didn’t bother him but only the wild boar tusk. The latter didn’t suspect anything, which made Isaac continue to study his vision without a problem. He realized he could even see the veins and the blood flow inside the wild boar tusk's body. He was surprised as he thought he might be a vampire.

“I must be in the bat form.”

Isaac chuckled but dismissed his thought. After all, he couldn’t even see his wings, so how could he be in the body of a bat?

Isaac continued to study the wild boar tusk body and didn’t long until he saw its beating heart. He thought, if he activated the other skill, and devour the blood which was the center of it, it should be enough to kill the wild boar tusk silently, right?
