CHAPTER THREE

“What ….a great party, this party is worth millions.” Don whispered to himself as he was caught by the beautiful atmosphere of the party, he held his wife as they made their way to the main entrance.

Don and Roselyn were both walking together when they were stopped by some random men who were attracted to the beauty of Roselyn and were willing to beat up Don to have her.

Woah..what a sweet thing! How much do you want for her? 

Does she look at what is put up for sale? Don replies to the man as he warns him to stay off his wife and his boundaries and leaves the area with Roselyn and makes his way into the house.

Kate and Ben were the aunt and uncle to roselyn. They are really rich and comfortable, they were one of the contributors for making the party very successful, they spent a lot of money to impress their one and only mother on her birthday.

They had a big surprise but their mom was going to be announced on stage after all the guests were around and seated. Don and Roselyn arrived at the party but nobody knew who Roselyn was because she was crippled and her face was burnt so nobody could recognize her.

They went to join the rest of the family at the dining section as Don left the area to get a drink of vodka to relax his head from all the stress and hoping he could capture the killer of his family since he had completed his fist mission.

“Could I get you another bottle of vodka?” The bartender asked Don if he wanted another bottle to clear his head, but he didn't want to get himself drunk to avoid embarrassment to the family.

Mark joined Don at the bar as he was teasing him about his new marriage and the certain downfall.

“This is not your bachelor party….it is grandma's birthday, so don't get yourself drunk or you will be kicked out of here.”Mark said to Don.

“Looks like you brought a sexy cheek to this party leaving your half dead wife at home.” Don immediately took Mark by his collar and threatened him to get his wife's name from his mouth, if not he would be his worst nightmare.

“Relax ... .bro I am not into your wife but I am into the new girl you brought for this part.”Mark said expecting a response from Don, but Don left the bar without saying a word but kept on smiling.

“Welcome……welcome everyone, I really appreciate you guys for making this day a blessed one for my mother both family members and guests.”Kate announced while holding the hands of her husband.

On behalf of my husband and I, we gave my mother one of our biggest mansions to be her new home and a share of their company. Everyone at the party was shocked about their decision but also impressed as they encouraged them with applause.

After the announcement, Kate decided to have a conversation with the rest of her family members. 

Wow! Phoenix, it is such a shame that you chose to marry your daughter off to such a poor man who could not provide for your daughter's needs. Ben said with a smirk on his face.

“Well… I don't expect Roselyn to get a better man in her devastated conditions.”Kate said while mocking the family with her husband, but Don has had enough of all the negative comments and decided to speak up.

“Well atleast, her daughter is a married woman but yours is five years older than Rosleyn still she isn't married yet.” Don said as he left the place angrily.

After listening to the insult Don had given Kate and her husband, they decided that phoenix and her family won't join them to eat at the family gathering but would eat somewhere else.

Waiter, please show these guests their special area to eat their food.” The waiter took the family to the servant section where they would sit to eat like servants.

“Enough with all this mockery and torture, with all our reputation we are been fed like servants at my mom's birthday party.” Mrs Phoenix spoke up but was suddenly pushed to the floor by the door.

“Sorry mother, let's help you up.” After Don and Roselyn helped their mother up, she was shocked and confused who the lady that was with Don was. Roselyn went to hug her Mom and told her that she is her daughter and thanks to Don she had no scars and she is able to walk again.

The mom was so shocked and excited and decided to show everyone about the surprise glow up of her daughter and to prove to Kate, her daughter isn't disabled again.

Everyone was shocked and they all gasped a lot of times. Men were attracted to Roselyn's beauty and Mark couldn't believe that she was the sexy cheek he saw a while ago.

He couldn't help himself but he went down on him and brought out a diamond ring and took the hands of Roselyn and said “will you marry me.”But it was such an awkward environment, as Roselyn looked at Don then took Mark's hands off.

She was disgusted by the act of Mark and looked away. Mark went to her and promised not to break her heart and he would be with her till death do them apart.

Roselyn's mom asked  Mark “would you take care of my daughter?” Mark promised to take care of Rosely and he is willing to pay a sum of one hundred million dollars as her dowry. Mrs phoenix agreed to the terms of Mark.

My dear, why don't you leave this poor man and marry a man who would treat you like the queen you were meant to be and get married to Mark.

She also promised to pay Don for his treatment for Roselyn and make sure he doesn't go home with nothing but she told Roselyn that it would be best if she gets married to Mark.
