The very same day could not get any better. At Kibich Central Police precinct, there was still more coming their way. So far, it was a good day. No one had to be carried to the morgue or lose his or her life to some self-centered maniac. What could be heard on the police radios was just the normal police chatter by the officers on duty.
Sorry for them, a tornado was about to hit the precinct hard enough to shake it down. Against all odds and against all norms, this time, trouble came right through their doors. This trouble was none other but, the average, beautiful tough-looking Special Agent Claire Jacobs of the CIB Special Crimes unit. She had heard enough reported to her therefore, it was time for her to physically avail herself to the action.
There was no better way to get to the action itself than being at the Kibich Central Police precinct. It had come time for her to take the matters off the hands of the captain into her capable hands. In other words, she had co
Yet again, just right as, the ghost, as they thought of her was about to leave, they were in for another strike. They saw what could be best described as yet another ghost walk right through the front doors into the precinct to snatch away the slight goodness that had been left of their home. The captain’s eyes got to this ghost first. As he approached them, they all could not help but stare without a sound. The ghost was none other but Paul James. His masculine body said it all as he walked across the floor. His physique was just right for him to be crowned Mr. Credonia if their vote was all that counted. His suit was beyond description for being a detective. Did I just say detective? Of course, he was detective John’s replacement. It was about time the precinct got some detectives around once more.Instead of searching for David’s number in his phone to make the call, he had just found a more compelling task. He just held his phone as his brain did
As bad as the private talk sounded in the ears of Jonas, he just had to oblige. After all, he was still the chosen and the fate of the world rested on his young shoulders. A few of his girlfriend’s tears could not be compared to a world without earthlings to live in it.In such situations, the best way out is, to protect the feelings of those you are about to hurt for as long as until just minutes or hours after you have left and they have to find out the truth the easy way or the hard way.The easy way of course would be to have you back with them and the day’s program not messed up with. The hard way though is quite the opposite of that. To never get to see you again that day or the next few to come, the day’s original plan messed with seriously followed by tears and their plans to kill you the next time you meet.In the case of Jonas, he had a choice to only take the second option. As bad as it sounded, it was still the best he had. There wa
After John hung up the phone after the discovery of his best friend’s murder. He could no longer sit in wait for justice to prevail. He had to do something about it. He again went back to Ruddick’s for more answers. By the time, in deed Ruddick had something for him. Upon carrying out autopsies on Jane’s body, he discovered that Jane’s cause of death was not because of the etchings on her body. Instead, Jane had died of a totally different cause long before she got the engravings. It was after the fact that the killer decided to carve markings on her body and drain her blood thereafter. Despite his previous suggestions of the perpetrator having no background on the human anatomy, upon further examinations, the carvings indicated skillful work. Work that was done by someone with extensive knowledge of the human anatomy. The perpetrator did the carvings with the aim of throwing them off.Besides the facts, there were also signs of strangulation. S
Immediately on arrival at the precinct, she filled them in on the reason for the emergency. She had just received reports that a woman had just been reported missing. According to the officers at the scene, there were no indications of her being murdered. Her boyfriend reported her missing that morning. They had gone for a camping weekend the previous day. That morning, she had woken up for a walk around the park when he heard a scream shortly after she had left the tent.He followed as soon as he heard the scream but upon running a couple of meters along the path she had taken, he found one of her snickers lying around. He also heard what he said to be the squawking of a vehicle leaving the scene. It was then that the boyfriend called the police to report the incident. Though they had plans to look at the previous murders that day, they had to postpone for a later time. Having shared all this information to the team, they left at once for the park.Since Detective Pau
Matthew and Jean were busy trying to make sense of Jane’s murder outcome. After Matthew had discovered Jane as the source of breach, he was to find out more about the two agents deaths and why they had to kill each other. Matthew used all the knowledge he had to go through security footages around the city but could not find a thing. Just as they were about to give up the search, Ruddick’s report about the agents having killed Jane reached them.As it turned out, it was the missing link needed to come up with a theory of their own as well. First, there was nothing showing on the security footages at the street where the dead agents were. Second, Jean had been in the field long enough to know that, such high level agents could not be that sloppy. In other words, the agents did not kill Jane as told by Ruddick. Second, there was a possibility that the two agents had not shot each other to death as well. Someone wanted them to think of it that way and as it seemed, w
To any other person but them, that was just a normal occurrence. To them, that meant that there was something that someone very senior did not want known about the two agents. It also meant that, whatever they were hiding had to be not good at all, to whoever was hiding it. That became the clue that they all decided to chase for answers. The following morning at the precinct, Claire was ready to profile the killer in question. Everybody in the team was present and ready to hear what the smart agent had to say except Ruddick. Immediately after they were settled, she begun the profile. She looked and pointed at the big screen on the wall, “As you can all see, we have gathered enough information to trace our murderer. By profiling the killer, I hope to find him with your help. That was the very reason I chose you all for my task force. What I might leave out, I know you shall fill in as we go on.”She turned her head and eyes away from the screen to loo
As she was getting ready to show them the footage, two agents from her department, (CIB) Special Crimes entered the precinct ended straight for the office. The task force in the office with her as well as the officers in the precinct did not wait to be told of what was about to go down. The sight of those agents meant that someone was about to be in serious trouble. They walked straight entering the office to join in wait for the outcome so they could do their job. She finally got the recording and played it on the big screen for all to see. What they all saw left them mouths wide open in wonder and surprise. As Claire was saying, the killer was in their midst the whole time. In fact, the killer was not just at the precinct but also part of the team. Immediately it was clear who the killer was, the agents had no time to waste but take him away for prosecution to answer for his crimes. No room for more discussion neither doubt whether the suspected killer had not done as she s
Within the minute, Jonas did not waste any second. He took his father’s truck and drove home to let the team know of what had transpired and try to figure out a way to help him. Although David might have told Jonas to tell his mother about it, he just meant the opposite. He never wanted Jonas to let his mother know about the incident. Instead, he was telling him to let Jean know of what had happened and to tell her to lie low. He never wanted her to risk showing herself trying to save him. He knew she would because she was the only one that could clear his name. Jonas may have been a witness to clear his father but the fact that he was family and was termed as unstable could not help him much.Just to think the day could not get any worse for him; Kate had switched on her phone ready to talk to him about their situation. She called him as he was driving home to let Peterson, Matthew and Jean know of what had happened to his father.Jonas held the steering
