Chapter 5

The tall man entered the room. He was Percival’s head of security, who had just returned from the restroom.

“How was it? Easy to touch me? I think it’s much easier to touch your beautiful wife,” Percival said as he stroked Yve’s hand.

“You bastard! I’ll break your legs and toss you onto the street to be eaten by stray dogs. You despicable human!” Christian shouted, rebelling.

Hearing this, Percival grew furious. His face turned red.

“You want to break my legs? I’ll break your legs first!”

Percival was now only 25 centimeters away from Christian. He grabbed Christian’s hair.

“You talk too much, but the result is zero. Just like your pathetic life. Living as a useless son-in-law who can only do housework like a servant, you’re not worthy to talk to me,” Percival said.

Thwack!

A slap landed on Christian’s left cheek.

“Hahaha... trash! Try to hit me back. Slap my cheek!” Percival taunted with a smile on his face.

Leopold couldn’t let this happen. He went against Christian’s orders, which had instructed him to wait outside.

“Stop everything!” Leopold exclaimed.

Percival and Declan were surprised to see Leopold arrive.

“Mr. Percival, Mr. Declan, your membership in this club is revoked. Please leave now, or I will call the police!” Leopold said firmly and authoritatively.

Declan and Percival were shocked and panicked. Losing their membership at the Bluemoon club was equivalent to severing ties with major businessmen.

“What do you mean? What did we do wrong?” Declan asked.

“You engaged in violence and created a disturbance here,” Leopold explained.

“But he was the one who hit Declan first and assaulted all my men. I just wanted to give him a fair response. Is that wrong?”

“I know what really happened. You provoked it first. Now, leave this place, or you will become enemies of the entire Bluemoon club!” Leopold declared.

They had both sacrificed a lot to become members of this club. But because of Christian, they were on the brink of losing it all.

Declan was already contemplating leaving the room. Becoming enemies with the entire Bluemoon club was a disaster. If that happened, his family’s company would be ruined, and his family would punish him.

However, Percival had different plans.

“Lock the door, and let’s teach this GM a lesson!” Percival exclaimed.

Percival’s men immediately divided their tasks. Two of them closed the door and guarded it with their bodies, while one of them used an anaconda technique to restrain Leopold. Another member grabbed the HT from Leopold’s waist and destroyed it.

“Leopold! Leopold! Who do you think you are, daring to threaten me? You’re just an old bachelor from a mysterious family background. Clearly, our social status is different. But you dare to behave disrespectfully towards me!” Percival said with a very serious expression.

“Mr. Percival, I’m not joking about what I said. If the entire Bluemoon club turns against you, your company is finished!”

“Oh, really? I know this club is a place to build relationships. The strength and dignity of a family can be seen through its club members. But... my company is a large corporation. Its total assets reach 1 trillion. It’s impossible for all of them to turn against me.”

Percival then approached Christian again. He gripped Christian’s jaw forcefully.

“Can I enjoy your wife? If yes, I’ll sign a partnership agreement between my company and hers. But if not, I’ll... still enjoy your wife. The only difference is, I won’t cooperate with her company,” Percival said, mocking.

Christian spat on Percival’s annoying face. There was no way he would let another man touch his wife. Even if it meant death, he would protect Yve.

“You scoundrel!”

Percival began to blindly attack Christian, targeting his face, nose, and stomach.

At this moment, Percival’s three bodyguards were thrown aside as the room’s door swung open.

Percival, who had been beating Christian, stopped his blows and turned to look at the door.

“General Octavian!” Percival was stunned by the presence of the one-star general who controlled the eastern region of New York.

Declan turned pale, and his body trembled. He knew that something terrible was about to happen.

Octavian walked slowly. However, with each step he took, it sounded like dozens of soldiers marching in unison.

The situation in the karaoke room became tense.

“General Octavian, it’s a pleasure to meet you. How can I assist you?” Percival initiated the conversation, adopting a sweet demeanor in hopes of avoiding trouble.

Whack!

A slap landed on Percival’s left cheek, causing the older man’s vision to blur instantly.

Whack!

Another slap hit, this time on his right cheek.

After the second powerful slap, Percival felt the world spinning in his head rapidly.

Declan trembled violently after witnessing this.

“How dare you hit Christian like that! You’ve had enough of life!” Octavian yelled. His voice roared like a lion’s.

The person who had been restraining Christian and Leopold immediately released his hold and stepped back.

“I-I apologize, General! It was just a misunderstanding,” Percival apologized.

“You know who I am. You should know how I act. Christian is my friend. If you dare to touch him, it’s the same as touching me!”

“I deeply regret it. Please forgive me!”

Christian took a step forward. Then he said, “You said I couldn’t touch you? I’ll show you how I can touch you.”

And with that, a powerful punch landed on Percival’s face, causing the old man to fall to the ground.

Declan grew even more fearful. He knew that Christian would come after him next. So, stealthily, Declan approached the exit door to escape.

“Using money to oppress the weak. You’re nothing more than a rabid dog!” Christian uttered.

Percival felt humiliated. But at this moment, he couldn’t fight back against Christian with Octavian protecting him.

Then Christian inquired about Declan’s whereabouts. He wanted the man to be held accountable for what he had done.

“Where’s Declan?” Christian asked.

Leopold and Octavian scanned the room, but they couldn’t find him.

“It seems like he has already escaped,” Leopold said.

“I’ll find him and kill him!” Octavian declared.

Christian shook his head and said, “No need. I want to toy with him and crush him slowly. It’s better to deal with this man first. Teach him a lesson so he won’t oppress the weak anymore.”

“Understood!” Octavian replied.

The one-star general then grabbed Percival’s hand and said, “It’s this hand that dared to strike Christian. I’ll make sure you remember it!”

“What are you going to do? You’re just the ruler of East New York I know generals at the center. You can’t hurt me!”

Percival tried to intimidate Octavian, but Octavian wasn’t fazed. His relationship with Carlos Demetri was like that of a father and son. Consequently, Christian was considered his brother.

“Do you really think I care? Not even the Commander can stop me!” Octavian exclaimed.

Once his mouth closed, Octavian crushed Percival’s right hand.

“Aarrgghh!”

Percival’s screams of pain were piercing.

“I will retaliate!” Percival said, holding his mangled right hand.
