Chapter 3

Diana was at a loss at what to do as she was pinned on the bed before she could even run away. Just when she was confused on what to do and lost hope.

"Let. Go. Of. My. Wife. Piggy."

"Huh?" The boss was startled as he quickly turned around, even Diana who already lose hope turn as soon as she heard that familiar voice.

No one knew how or when Jaxon stepped into the room and suddenly he was standing behind the boss and holding him tightly on the suit collar.

"Huh? It's the useless son-in-law of the Jiang family. I will forgive you for once if you kowtows thrice and slap yourself then head out and close the door, get home and wait! When I am done I will send your wife to you." The boss sneered.

Jaxon didn't respond, his serene gaze fixed on the boss, causing the latter's heart to skip a beat. Instead of releasing him, Jaxon tightened his grip on the boss's collar.

"You worthless scum!" he growled. "Release me, or you'll..."

The boss couldn't finish his threat, as a sudden, powerful force yanked him away from Diana's body. He felt himself flying across the room, weightless and helpless, before slamming into the wall with a loud thud. The boss, a man of over 220 pounds, was sent flying like a rag doll, his bulk and strength rendered irrelevant by Jaxon's incredible power.

Bam.

Hearing the loud noises from the room, the guards couldn't help but dash into the room and as soon as they saw the boss on the floor they looked the other side and were shocked to see Jaxon.

Didn't he left through the door? How comes he is inside the room?

They thought.

"Bastard! You are courting dead!"

"You dare touch our boss!"

"We will break all your bones now!"

With those words, the henchmen grabbed iron pipes and other weapons and dashed towards Jaxon.

One of them attacks from behind as he sends his iron pipes towards Jaxon's spine. If that pipe lands on either his head or spine then breaking a few bones will be considered lucky.

Unfazed, Jaxon dodge the attacks and throws a light fist at the man's chest.

Bam!

The punch was light but the man was send crashing into the wall and knocked out cold.

...

Silence

The hoodians who were filled with passion to deal with Jaxon a moment ago halt their footsteps, they felt like it was an illusion. It must definitely be it, there's no way a man can send someone flying with such a casual punch right?

Maybe their member was cooperating with Jaxon to put on such a stunt.

Hmph, they will teach him a lesson when he wakes up.

Jaxon didn't give them time to think as he took another step and meet with another of the gangs, throwing his leg with the intention of slamming it into the man's chest, the man quickly lifted his hand to block it.

Bam!

Crack!

The bone chilling sound of bones being shattered, accompany with the scream of the victim was cut short as the victim couldn't stand after being send flying and crashing into the wall.

In a mere seconds, two of the huge gang members were instantly taken out, leaving the other members in shock.

What just happened?

Didn't they say that the so called Jaxon was just a useless man which was why their boss had eyes for his wife?

"You bunch of useless waste! Why are you all just standing and staring at him?! Attack all together!"

However, contrary to the Boss's expectations, the gang members didn't move an edge, having seen how two of their members have been easily taken care of, who in their right sense of mind will still attack?

"Pathetic, are these the people you rely on to bully ordinary civilians? Do you have more of them? Why don't they come out to face me?" Jaxon asked calmly as he moved towards the boss with slow steps.

The Boss was frightened as he watched Jaxon moving closer to him, he couldn't help but stagger backwards while pointing his trembling fat finger at him:

"Yo... You! Jaxon! You dare go against me?! Do you believe I can stop supplying your wife with the necessary materials?!

If I do so, Diana will go bankrupt which will jeopardize her stay in the Xing family and the worst part is she can even get disowned!" Boss shouted with a smug look, it was like he had everything planned out, "you might have the martial art strength to beat me but I have the resources to take care of you. I will only give you the chance to kowtow before me three times and get out of here and I will...!"

Jaxon ignored those words as he stepped closer to the Boss, his cold face only a few inches away from him.

At that moment when the Boss' face met Jaxon's own, he felt like he had fallen into a pit of hell which was cold but at the same time burning hot.

The Boss's smug shouting came to an abrupt halt.

"Try it again. Lose your life forever." Jaxon utter calmly.

With that, he turned around and left the room with the shocked and confused Diana following him and the other gang members standing and watching him without the will to block him.

Meanwhile the Boss dare not retort as his trembling fist was clench tight and his face, beet red from either embarrassment or anger, no one knows.

Outside the room, after Diana converse with her assistant and told him that everything has been handled, she and Jaxon drove home in her car in total silence.

Although she had tons of questions which she wanted to ask Jaxon but she didn't know how to start asking him.

Finally they reached home and as soon as they open the door, they saw her mother Weiwei Xing sitting on the couch and watching a movie with a bottle of beer in her hand, turning around, she saw the two of them walked and immediately said, "Diana come over here, and you, Jaxon. Sir down!"

Despite the harsh words, Jaxon only frowned as he sat down. Wondering why the atmosphere was a bit strange.

"So, after checking and discovering that it is true that after one month, the fake marriage contract will end. I know for a beautiful lady like you Diana, it will be confusing to choose a handsome and rich caring husband after living with someone below average who might have spoiled your taste in men. So I decided to host a small party with one of our old neighbor's son who just came back from Russia. It will be nice for both of you to start mingling and knowing each other so that after the one month is over you both can immediately go into relationships, the party is tonight."

"And I will not accept her going after another man while I'm still her husband on paper." Jaxon retorts coldly. For the first time he opened his mouth and went against his mother-in-law's words which baffled her and Diana.
