Chapter 59The next day, Naya woke up with a splitting headache which made her grab her head with both hands as she winced in pain. For more than five minutes, she remained in one spot, trying to remember the event of the previous night but her head was blank. Reaching out for her phone on the lamp stand, she turned it on only to see a message from Liam and at once she clicked it. 'Some hangover medicine is on the table.’ — the message read. Without giving it a second thought, she made her way towards the table and shoved the drugs down her throat before emptying the bottle of water down her gullet. Though her splitting headache was abated she was still under the effect of the drug that she had to walk slowly towards her bed and then slump on it with a thud. The next time she woke up, it was already past eight am and once again on her study table was a tray of food.
